The usual: I'm not sure if this has been suggested before. Anyway...

What i suggest is to add a report button to each manga comment. Clicking on report will take you to a screen were you can write a short reason why you reported it and then it goes straight to the mods.

The reason for report might be foul language, spoilers (i remember a comment in a manga that gave away the ending, pissed me off) ect.

I know the mods occasionally edit comments with [spoilers], but not even the mods can be everywhere.

I'm sure this isn't unfamiliar with most of you, most forums have this feature already, i just want this feature on the manga comments too.

I have been telling Manick to do that for a while now...
Keep the pressure going guys!!
I seriously try to keep a look on spoilers but sometimes it's hard to tell what's is a spoiler and what is not.
I remember once tagging something as a spoiler and then the guy came and complained that that was revealed in page 1... I checked it out and he was right. So yeah that wasn't really a spoiler I guess. And some other times I'm sure stuff that looks random to me could be major spoilers. It's hard to tell when you haven't read the manga and when you are moderating that many comments in a day... sometimes you just miss stuff. (sorry)
But anyway, for now as a temporary measure you could report them to me by pm. Anything you want to report, a comment or a forum post. I'll deal with it as fast as I can. (Which usually is within 24h).
Oh and holly`bell, I just love your comments. They make my life that much easier lol.

The thing is, doesn't it require 2 accidentally clicks to report a post? The report link is right next to the quote link and then all it would require a person to do hit a confirmation button like the spacebar or the return/enter key. At Spymac.com, they shrunk the button and moved it away from the quote button since it caused extra work, and I think quite a few kept hitting it accidentally. Maybe an icon like /!\ could be used, and that there's the yellow help box that shows up when the cursor's on it, so it could explain was the button's for?

Reporting isn't that serious, you know...It just alerts any admin or moderator. It doesn't take too long to verify it, anyways. Personally, I wouldn't worry too much about hitting it accidentally, unless you make a serious habit of it...then I would consider that on purpose

Uhm, to any admin/mod, I tried reporting the post above this (sorry man, nothing personal. I just wanted to test it), did those got in? I did 4. The first took me to a page with a 'back to previous' button. Got a redirection error on the 2nd and 3rd. The last took me back to the homepage. Btw, I didn't see any confirmation page/popup, if there was any.

Edit:
I see Reported! on lambchopsil's post. Then it did get in.

Edit:
It's gone now. Changed by admin, obviously. Stating it for future readers.

Yeah, the system doesn't allow the same person to report the same post twice. Doesn't hurt to have another person to test it...but don't test it again~

Does there need to be a confirmation page? If you do it by accident, whatever, it's alright. We're not here to murder you...

holy`bell, you see how it works yet? See the Reported! next to the post you marked for checking? That's one way of confirming. The other way of confirming is that if you see the "The post was successfully reported. An administrator will look at it as soon as possible." page, then it got through the system. And by the way...it DOES have a confirmation screen. I guess Manick added it and I never noticed...

Maybe it is you. I reported donkabu's above post as a test victim... I mean test pilot... XD ...and I got one.

How? I want one. Are you using a plain browser (no add-ons)?

With this many users someday it will lead to (even more) loads of work for you admins.
And you could still raep us, mentally, with messages.

Actually, this will minimize our current work. It'll take A LONG time for the work to get worse than before (at least for moderating). We can always change it later...Don't worry too much about it.

You already got one. XD And no. I have one or two add-ons.

Okay, if that's what you say.
