What is the difference between Redisu, Redikomi, & Josei if one exists at all.

They all mean stuff made for women, or female-oriented. That's all. Josei means "female" in Japanese. Redikomi should be "lady comic".

So is there a slight difference?

I guess they are just different names to indicate the target audience. Redisu, my guess is "ladies'".

redicomi = レディーコミ, short for ladies' (redisu) comics (レディース コミックス). There is no difference.

Isn't the difference based on the graphics... To put it bluntly, as far I've read somewhere, the difference of redikomi and josei is that redikomi have hard scenes... as hard scenes I mean sex scenes... Well I've read something like that somewhere....

No, not really. I think some people just assume that "ladies' comics" are all about sex, but "Josei manga" is essentially "redikomi". It's just another term.

Could you find the source of such definitions? I don't know whether such usages are agreed by most of the manga reading community (in Japan) yet I am no expert in this. I guess among some people, redikomi could be a term for female mangas containing explicit sex to differentiate from other manga for women. "Redikomi" is certainly lady comic and came from English. The literal meaning doesn't indicate sexual or any other type of content. One won't see any difference from the literal meaning. The using of it could be just a habit (but I am not sure how many people use it that way). But isn't it part of josei - I mean, since josei means female, it should mean manga for females, no matter what content and genre it is.

Ladies' comics is a term associated with eromanga for women, and it's often used as such, but not all ladies' comics are porn.

The term "ladies' comics" has been around much longer than the term "josei". Actually, the term "josei" was invented to differentiate these comics for women from ladies' comics, which had a reputation for being lowbrow and smutty.

I'm with you on that one.
Luv Luv Press (The publishers) basically push out really smutty volumes with very little else inside.
They call their comics Redikomi so I do think Redikomi tend to be smuttier whereas Josei can just be for women with sex and stuff. Maybe something with a more mature plot line that younger people wouldn't understand/care about.
