Yes! This is one of my favorites. I was surprised, but PLEASANTLY so, to see it on top. I'm glad that it's originality makes it so popular. Kudos!! I didn't even know there is or was going to be an anime.

well, This is the very first shoujo that can made me read it kinda non-stop.
I just finish it 10 vol. (and I want more) well, I think it really good and so refreshing.

I haven't seen the anime, yet. Gotta find ones!

It's a good manga.
One of the better shoujo manga.
It's cliche, yet it's not.

o__o It's all based on ratings, so it doesn't mean it's the best.

I like the manga and anime but I stop reading/watching it because it was a bit too cliche for my taste. eyes

I think it's nice to see a shoujo on the top list, if you look at who's no 2 and such, they're all pretty much shounen manga, it's nice to see some romance fighting for a spot in an action packed list, do you know what I mean?
That's also one of the reasons why I picked Kimi ni Todoke up in the first place, because I was proud to see a shoujo making it's way in a shounen dominated rankings list.

I'm on chapter 42, and all i can say without spilling the beans is this...

I finally know why I love KnT. The scenario is a school, everything's supposed to be cliche but it's the ONLY manga so far besides Koukou Debut in which the main girl character can be so consistent with her original personality even when under extreme and rapid character development (like in a scenario that forces her to change her views on life's important lessons).

The girl in KnT stays the same yet grows with every passing chapter.

Ok, maybe I can't explain it fully yet, but this is by far one of the BEST shojo mangas EVER.

I don't think it's bad. It's actually pretty good. I was expecting not to be impressed by it, but I liked it because the main guy and main girl are both innocent and good-natured people. It's not just the girl that is dense this time either. The popular guy is also very humble for once. True there are some cliche things (i.e. The girls who bully Kuronuma because Kazehaya gets close to her), but overall, I find it pretty refreshing (like the Sawako's name haha). I'm happy to know that there's an anime out, too. I had no idea and just read the manga because a friend suggested it (I need to thank her...). I'll be watching the anime until the next chapter comes out biggrin .

Its good no doubt, but people who like fast pace and decent paced mangas will pobably not like it. The main dude is popular yet quite humble and not all full of confidance and arrogance. I liked it at the beginning but then i didn't like the pace it was going at so i dropped it. Personally i thought the girl overreacted too much and blushed too much and even the dude too but that is just me. The pace was wayy toos slow for me. I think there are better mangas out there personally but perhaps this one really appeals to the girls a lot so hmm y not?

@soraking: i've started the manga before the anime came out. i was so excited and hyper when i found out about the anime. it's been a while since i finished the anime so i don't recall the exact details. i do know that the anime kept with the manga closely. the manga does continue the story. look forward to the parts in ch40s! enjoy!! (if i were you, I'd probably read it from the beginning, or you could look at ch27 and resume from there).

I enjoy KnT very much. I love all of the characters' expressions, the character's development and their relationships/friendships. It's very heart-warming and fluffy =) and it just makes me happy when I read it ('course, I'm sad whenever there is a fight or unpleasant misunderstanding).

I'm always hoping it goes to top of the list on mangafox.. i feel sad whenever it drops ranking.. i really do want it to be top 3, (if not 1 or 2, since I also like Naruto XD).

To me its like a better romantic version of the manga wallflower. Its sort of the realistic version of Sunako smile
Its refreshing, funny, and all the characters are adorable. what more can you ask for?

Who knows? I don't like it, it bores me. But I guess everyone has different tastes...And mine seem to be drastically different from most people's. I don't like most of the manga that are in MU's top hundred, so I don't really waste my time worrying about why this one is up there.

A story's popularity has nothing to do with how good it is - it just means that a lot of people like it. And going by how poor people's judgement is, nowadays - I personally no longer decide whether to read a manga by depending on the rating. I've found that what appeals to the masses (Kimi ni Todoke , Skip Beat! , Berserk etc.) don't hold any place in my heart at all. I prefer less popular manga like Mushishi , Himitsu and so forth.
