Bakemono Scanlations is recruiting!

We do mainly sports projects but are interested in other shounen projects too.

So what are we looking for?

Translators:-1 or 2 translators for major to speed up releases. We have both chinese and japanese raws. Major has short (18-20 pages) chapters with a lot of action and little text.
-1 chinese translator for crossover. The chapters are long and have a lot of text, but we don't release as frequently as for [m]major.[/m]-any other chinese/japanese translator willing to help out on any of our other
projects can always apply. We have plenty of work to keep you busy.
Proofreaders:
-We need 2-3 dedicated proofers. Proofers should do one or two chapters per week, but if you can't do it one week, no problem. Proofers don't work on a fixed project, but if you are interested in a particular project, we will keep it in mind.

Cleaners:
-2 or 3 cleaners to speed up major. We have HQ tank raws. Major has practically no redraws or cloning, so it's a good manga for beginners. No experience required, but make sure that you at least know the basics of manga editing.
-1 or 2 cleaners for crossover. Crossover has poor raws and a few redraws, so some experience is required.
-as many cleaners as we can get for any of our other projects. Experience not required, but as stated before, you must know the basics of editing.
-last but not least, an EXPERIENCED cleaner. He doesn't need to do any actual projects,
but should do redraws that are too difficult for others and help newbie editors if
they have questions.

Typesetters:
-this can be cleaners who are willing to typeset as well. We need about as many
typesetters as we need cleaners for the same projects. Experience not required,
but there is a limit to how noobish you can be of course. You should know the basics. If you don't know what you should do in round and spiky bubbles, please don't apply.
-One EXPERIENCED, specialized typesetter. Unlike the cleaner, this one should do a chapter every now and then, and he should help out the newbies who have questions.

Quality checkers:
-2 or 3 Quality checkers for random projects. You don't need to fix the mistakes
yourself, just make a list of them.

other:
-we are urgently looking for an XDCC-BOT.
-We need raws for school days.
-raw providers for our other projects are welcome as well. If you have raws for any
of our projects, please drop by and let us know.
