Nagato is going to be adorable in that movie. So yes. And apart from endless 8 2nd season was ok. That being said endless 8 made the thing as a whole blow. But the movie shouldn't have any bullshit like that.

Ever since I read the novel a few years back, I've been waiting for this.
I was expecting it to be the main story covered in the second season...only to be disappointed eight times in a row....
I'm definitely looking forward to it...for Yuki and long-haired Haruhi >: D
The first trailer they release basically covered the whole storyline though...that was sorta funny. They sure trolled a lot of people who have not read the novels
I guess they got kinda good at that after Endless Eight xD

What he said. Though it's going to be surprisingly long for an anime film at 2 hours and 30 minutes, according to myanimelist.net.

Meh, with all the time-travelling that's gonna be happening, I doubt you'd feel like it's that long =P

Book four was my absolute favorite in the series, and ever since I read it I've wanted to see it animated...
Personally, I didn't mind Endless Eight too much. And while I wasn't sitting around waiting for a translation to pop up of each episode that was exactly the same as the last, I did find time to trudge my way through it...I also had fun pointing out the small differences, like swimsuit styles.
But the Haruhi 2009 re-airing thing was totally worth it in my opinion, for the Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody, which was my second favorite story in the novels.
(First being Disappearance, third being Snow Mountain Syndrome)
I had been hoping that airing Bamboo Leaf would mean Disappearance would be in the anime. But after Endless Eight started I lost hope...then I heard about the movie and my hopes are high again!
Geez, what this series puts me through...
