I love reading and watching the anime of "La Corda d'Oro"! It has alot of Bishonens too, *woot*! Since I play music too, I love this story! I never knew it was a game too. I enjoy this series very very much. I may sound crazy but I'm crazy for it! I hope that I can read more and more of it! I can't wait! Heheh!
Hope people will like it too when they read it! biggrin

it's an ok manga, but the anime is much better in my opinion...you get a taste of classical music, and the art of the anime is better than the manga, too, which rarely happens (except for chrno crusade and this, most manga has better art then their anime) laugh

Why is it that almost in every Romance manga or just manga, the kids almost ALWAYS attends some rich and prestigious school. I mean seriously, how many prestigious school are there that almost every character from shoujo attend.........

I don't know, but I would guess that people generally fantasize about being rich. Since shoujo & shounen mangas usually stretch how the opposite sex acts, it would seem that this fantasy like environment would be augmented by a wealthy setting.

At first it's cool. But after reading 50 Shoujo manga sabout some girl pretending to be a guy in a rich school.........it get s a little tiring......

I loved it, but only to a degree. I loved the classical music, it even opened me up to composers I've never heard before which I now love. XD In the anime version, I loved the little tidbits at the end that gave trivia about orchestras and famous composers. But the whole series just gets so formulaic: train for the concours--> problem arises--> day of the concours--> something bad happens at the last minute--> everything turns out fine in the end --> vacation chapter --> train for the concours again. Not to mention the characters are all huge sterotypes that can be found in a lot of other manga: the quiet guy who all the girls love, the naiive energetic guy, the eccentric guy, the guy with a secret, the rude guy who's actually nice on the inside, etc.

Maybe I've just read too much manga already that it's hard for me to find anything new anymore. XD Anyway, despite all the negatives, I loved the anime enough to finish till the last episode. smile (can't say the same about the manga ^^;)
