She manage to put a fine ending... again.
It's a bit sad. I expected more from her manga. Somehow, she remind me of the author of GTO, always great and unique art, humorous, ecchi, but after giving their best manga they keep failing in the way to find another decent story.

Thats what I call a good ending.
My first thought when it was over, was "Hey, this actually got a pretty good chance to do a sequel"

The background story is there, a sequel that takes place a few years later would be pretty good.

In my opinion anyways

I'm kinda hoping she takes it to another magazine and makes a sequel as well. If she tried for a sequel in her current magazine, it would be cut short again. I honestly thought we would get at least 30 chapters, but it ended well enough.

I'm happy with this story's ending, sort of. I honestly hate it when they make characters who are deeper and better constructed and hook the guy up with a character that has less to them just because they started in on the male character, a sadly overused idea in romance manga. I don't like the 1st girl gets the guy thing. I know this author made a few characters before that I liked better than the main girl, like some of the characters in Ichigo 100%.

She mostly likely cannot.
Well...not outside Jump at least..due to contract(s)

This is why I hate ranking...

yeah, although the story messes up in the middle part, but still, if we'll look at Ichigo 100%, it also "somewhat" messes up in the middle part..

Just try to look at it, there's a lot of manga offered by WSJ, so why not change the rank settings, instead of the constant top 5, why not make it into to, say, top 8?

But still, the art work is good... hopefully she'll have a better shot in her next series, whatever it will be.

support the mangaka.. if there's a manga available in your place, buy it. it's one way of showing our appreciation..

That ending was actually pretty decent for a discontinued manga.

And no. No sequels. I think leaving it like that is fine.
Besides, the reason this was left like it was because it got discontinued. You can't be expecting a sequel when the manga was ditched laugh

except for ichigo 100% all other mangas from her were discontinued, she could start writing for another magazine, one that accept more ecchi stuff

See I liked how Ichigo 100% ended, it gave my the form of closure I so greatly desire (a guy and girl getting together or shows their future selves). This was a let down, but I still liked the story in general. Hopefully something better will come along ^^

I want a sequel. sad If she could come up with a great story like, "4 years later", it could turn out pretty awesome, WITH a good story of course. Really, this is sad. It was actually my fav manga. Ugh. >_>

agreed with last post, even a one chapter epilogue is good. Sadly some of the my most favorite manga have endings like this.... if only they would add an epilogue to conclude it so the readers would have a feeling of closing or better satisfaction

If it wasn't discontinued, I'm pretty sure she would have done one.

I really hoped that the ending was gonna be a bit longer than that - during the middle it was getting a bit dull - but toward the latter part THAT'S when the stories are about to progress and BAM cut down short

SEQUELS !!!!

Nah... she can always come back with Ane-doki 2... or i hope she will.

Before i heard that Ane-doki got an ace, i didn't really understand why Bukuman mangakas are crying about the ranking system... guess now i do...

Sequels are for losers. That's what makes manga so special, the open-endings. At that point, you start to think what would happen next. Even now, with this glorious 4 pages sequel, it's still open. Thanks Kawashita-sensei!
