Zero is a flawed character.

Hence, he has my vote.

Kaname is annoyingly perfect, and unnaturally so. And he's keen on his own selfish interests besides.

i voted for Kaname^_^ because he's so sexy n i don't mind that he's too perfect. he's vampire anyway n vampires are always that.

Zero is often annoying as a standard tsundere emo boy <- tired with this kind of character >_<

That's gotta be one of the most succinct summations I've ever read on what's wrong with the way Kaname is written. All I can say is, yes exactly.

I mean, all the other characters will rush to tell Yuuki how awesome Kaname is and how he always has their best interests at heart, etc., etc., but every time we've ever seen him in action, it's always him plotting and pursuing his own goals. I mean, if only we'd ever seen him doing something spontaneously nice for someone else (besides Yuuki), I could believe in him as being this wonderful and unselfish person everyone else claims he is, but as it is, the stuff I've seen him do with my own eyes (and not heard about second hand from another character) doesn't back that up at all. Seeing is believing, you know? And if he IS as perfect as he's made out to be, then that's totally blah and uninteresting.

On the other hand, just as you said, Zero is flawed. He feels more like a human being to me, someone worth caring about, rather than someone who is a stereotype of the brooding vampire romantic hero (i.e. Kaname--dark, mysterious, powerful, has an obscure past, is always inexplicably unhappy/lonely...hell, I swear we've even seen him wear a cape before! bigrazz), hence Zero also gets my vote.

They are both hot, but I have to go with Zero all the way!!!

Zero is hot, but tormented by the loss of his family, falling in love with Yuki and having to become a vampire that will be hunted by those he hunted with....

I can't help but to want to see him find happiness.

The sole reason I stopped reading this manga is because I predict a Zero ending. Human will go with "Human"; I doubt it will ever have a vampire end.

If the ending's with Kaname, I will go back and finish reading this.

I have been wondering why I don't like Kaname and want him to end up with Yuki even though he's done everything for Yuki. Now you told me the reason.

ummm. I don't know but that's the best thing about Kaname-- that he IS spontaneously nice ONLY to Yuuki.specially since I'm already tired of the leading men being kind to all. by the way, doesn't it hurt if you thought that a guy has a special feeling for you because of his action.but in the end you'll know that he is like that to everyone.at least on Kaname, you'll know that there is only one girl for him.and that is Yuuki. </33

at first i really hate zero.but now i don't.haha.i don't know.maybe its because of his twin.but that doesn't mean that i like him to be paired with Yuuki.

dead biggrin

except YuukixZero wouldn't be a human going with a "human" bigrazz
Spoiler (highlight to view)
Since you stopped reading it, you probably didn't find out that Yuuki is actual a pure blood, and in fact the younger sister of Kaname.... who still wants to be yuuki's lover o.0

That reason in the spoiler is exactly why i say zero bigrazz

Kaname all the way, it's his charm. He's so calm, collected and charismatic.

Chapter 44 is up. Somehow I feel the story is dedicated to Zero more than Kaname. I mean, Zero shows up more confused Does that mean it'll end up with Zero-Yuuki together?

Yuuki is Kaname's sister or not doesn't matter to me really. I don't mind incest.
