I agree with kiraDementia because I can see how such an interesting character such as Kaname fits perfectly in the plot. Kaname's demeanor is slightly foreshadowed and it is very difficult to see his true intentions between the constant change in personality even with Yuuki. Sure it can be inferenced but you can see how distorted (in a good way) and illusioned the plot seems to be. I think it's amazing how the plot is veered in a way expected but then becomes obscured when you nearly realize the conclusion or ending to one's guess on a specific aspect in the story. *hint, hint, wink wink, points at Yuuki & Kaname eyes *
Not that I can inference anything myself but there are a lot of smarter people out there that can figure it out. HINO MATSURI ROCKS! biggrin Sorry for the smarty-pants explanation. sad I'm weird. Don't hold it against me, please. I'm usually NEVER like this. shy Again, sorry.

just read ch34... and, i must be deadly wrong, or yuuki really likes zero, but she just doesn't know it! all the things she should be saying to kaname she tells him... and even zero noticed that!
about the outgoing... i'm dying to see what happens next!
damn...

I just read chp 33 and 34. I think its made pretty clear in 34 who Yuuki loves and

Zero gives up Yuuki to Kaname after coming to conclusion that Kaname is the one that is necessary in Yuuki's life. It's also made very clear just how strong Kaname's feelings are towards Yuuki.

After reading chp 34, I have a nagging feeling that Yuuki may already be a Vampire. After all, she has lost her appetite and keeps having horrible bloody dreams. I also now believe that Kaname may not have tampered with her memory at all, but rather that Yuuki, herself has repressed them. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

For all you folks out there proclaiming that Yuuki and Zero are in love, you must be reading a completely different manga series that I am.

On another note -- "warui" has more meanings than "evil." I believe in chp 33 while Yuuki and Kaname are under the tree, they are having playful banter and instead of "evil", perhaps it's more like Kaname is being "rude" or exhibiting a "bad disposition." He is a royal "snot" after all. But that's just my point of view.

I agree!! although i'm not sure it prooves that yuuki love kaname but it def proves that kaname loves yuuki =) YAY!!!

And i also agree with the part about zero and yuuki... how did some people get the feeling that yuuki is in love with zero?...

Hmmm i agree with both aya_san and kuro_neko003. About Yuuki's feelings towards Zero. Does she love him? I doubt it, he's more like a very dear friend to her, at least atm ( i'm not saying that there's no way in hell, it's just that so far she loves Kaname, not Zero, who knows what will happen in next chapter tho ). Regarding what happened in chapter 34, i like kuro_neko003 idea

Talking about manga volumes i own. All 6 ( yesasia.com is quite nicebigrazz ). Ofc they're in japanese but it's a good thing, makes me more motivated to learn it^^ ( alongside with few other mangas ). I'm wondering how many kanji i'll be able to learn before i'll get them messed up in my head lol ( so far like 60-70, still able to tell what is whatbiggrin ).

i think it's more like the other way around, i've seen this kind of case alot before, and i can tell how it's gonna end, like a not much used cliche ^^ it became obvious in 34 when Zero tries to pull back by saying she's strange and looking the other way (notice his eyes) then she withdraws her feelings, and pushes him out where he seems to want to be. I would bet my head that she loves Zero ^^

Well i think the possibility that she'll end up with Zero instead of Kaname is higher. Thought it doesn't change the fact that atm she's confused and still thinks of Zero more like a friend. I guess something will happen between Yuuki and Kaname that'll end / worsen their relationship ( i don't know, but to me it seems that Kaname is somewhat a tragic or evil hero herebigrazz ). The thing i'm pretty much sure about is that Yuuki will be a vampire from now, or something else with supernatural powers and that she'll stay this way till the end.

I read the English VIZ versions, but I also read the Japanese scans of Lala magazine chapters. I started doing that at chapter 27, so I still find benefit in reading the VIZ versions with chapters before that. I don't read the scanlations...

well, i'm on chapter 37 waiting for 38, but volumes that i own, i only have 3 since i'm waiting for the 4 one to bereleased.....so long to wait, from vol.3 to vol.4 is a 6 month wait cry

I OWN up to volume 4 so far. Volume 5 comes out September 2nd... dead I live in the state of Washington (USA). But I've technically already read it through ShojoBeat because I have a subscription (and it just ended this month so I got re-subscribe) cry
