I think most Asian tend to look younger than their real age. It depends on your hairstyle and clothes as well.
In my case, I always have to bring my student pass or passport to prove my age whenever I go to the cinema with my friends =.=

I've always been mistaken as being younger than I actually am. (Currently 25, asian)

Most recently was today, a neighbor rang my apt door and when I answered she asked me if my mom or dad was around... she thought I was still in high school. (Neighbor wanted to talk about some community condo agreement thing they were trying to get all the owners to sign.)

I know I look younger then I am, but that totally surprised me.

@darcyaglow
There was one time where I was going to help friends buy alcohol and the store owner wouldn't sell to me, said my ID was fake... err! ^^;

I'm nineteen and I don't think I look younger or older than I really am... but a few days ago, when I was in a library, someone called me "a little girl" and I didn't know what to say biggrin Also, people who make these annoying advertising calls often ask me if there's any adult at home when I pick up the phone smile It's quite useful because I can just say 'no' and hang up.

usually older.
most think I'm around 17-18, one was a dumbass and thought I was 24, he was kinda drunk, so I'll blame it on the alcohol.
I used to hate the fact that people think I'm older, now I'm indifferent to it.
although ,
at the movies, if you're under 18 or just still in school, you get a student price, and they always, always give the regular price! >=O

Well, i got the 2 ways.
When i was about 16 years old some believed i was at least 18 years, and even got someone who said i was 26 dead
But now than I'm 24 , i'm often mistakened for a 18 years old. Hardly any person that i met the first time get my age right...but at least now i look younger biggrin

I'm more than 20 years old, and I'm always mistaken for being MUCH younger. My friends constantly tease me by calling me a 12-year-old. ...lol? Most of the time, I get mistaken for being 14-18, and that doesn't help when I get asked for ID. Asian genes are a curse 'til you're old enough to WANT to look younger.

I think it's really great! One time (I was 16) some child started to call me his mommy. Another time when I was with friend on school trip and wanted to buy alcohol shop assistant almost showed us door because she thought that we were 16 or something (I was 19).

People thought that I was around 19 or 20 when I was 12.

I don't know whether to feel good or bad about that...

*sigh* I get mistaken for being older than I am often. I already feel old at times, but when people think I'm older (sometimes a lot older) I just feel down about it.

.... I think this has happened through my childhood, but I didn't mind so much then. ( I was mature for my age), but not I don't know it bothers me a bit.

A lot of times. Always tend to be younger than I am
It's because I'm Asian, 150 cm tall (That's like barely 5 feet), don't wear make-up, small hands and feet, acts like a kid etc. etc.

I'm 18, and people usually guess around 15 or 16 often, so it's not really that bad
The worst guess in my opinion was 13.

Maybe that's why guys don't look at me, because they think I'm a freshman/sophomore in high school, rather than in university.
I swear when I can buy alcohol legally, they'll always ID me.

Asian genes, it's a curse sometimes, but I guess it will be good in the future, since everybody wants to look young when they are getting older.

Nobody has ever guesses my age correctly they always think im way older or way younger and i have no idea what about me makes me not seem my age but whatever...now for the story

i was at an anime convention with my older sis(27) there weren't any panels that we were interested in going to so to kill time we went to a kids sing along song thing. we stroll up to the door arm in arm and the lady says "where are your parents? you can't come in without them." eek eek <(our faces). how can someone be so wrong? she was like 10 years off for me and 20 for my sister who by the way wasn't sure whether to be flattered or offended laugh
