The "word on the tip of my tongue" situation

Poll
What do you do?
I don't stop until I find it (Whatever it takes)
I try to find it, but if I don't find it after a while I give up.
I try to round it up to see if someone else gets it.
Nah, too lazy (Yes, it's always an option)

Yeah, not really.

I'm quite persistent, but I actually never have to try, since my tongue
always knows what to do. cool Basically, rarely happens to me. x]

Well, there's always the option of finding a synonym. That's what I usually do, so that I don't look like I'm stuttering around for an answer. Lol. Although later, when I finally remember the word I wanted to use, I'm like: "...Damn it!"

I will find it.

I won't stop until I do.

Otherwise I'm left with that irritated feeling and it wont go until I figure it out.
Sometimes I remember at the most random times, but I always manage to find it.

One of the few things I'm not lazy about laugh

There have been times when I've called people just to use them to help me figure out what word I want.

I try everything to remember. If I walk away not knowing it, it remains on my mind for ages.

Yes, it happens. I try to remember, but this usually happens in a conversation or speech context, so if it takes too long, I might skip it or try to find a word to replace it with.

I once fished a vocab book out of the trashcan because I KNEW the word I was looking for was in this book. I'm the sort of person that will suddenly burst out, "OH! It was ..." three days after I couldn't remember the word because I've been thinking of it since then.
