Is there any way to get the whole category back? I'm sure there were quite a few series tagged with it but I don't know the details anymore.

I always thought that a collection of inter-linked stories and collection of short stories weren't the same. That the thing that made those two tags different was that one had related short stories while the other were just random short stories ....
I guess to me it's that one is a square and one is a rectangle ... Although a square is also a rectangle (by definition, and requirements) you would still like to just call the square a square and not a rectangle as well. ( I wonder if this makes any sense ... or if my opinion matters ... Maybe I think it would be easier to just not have them collide or something.)


How does Other Student committees sound? The next best thing would be to actually give all the other student committees a tag themselves - Library committee, Beautification committee (along with the others). I just think those would be too few to have a tag of it's own ...

Tripitaka: Unfortunately, right now, there's no way to recover categories like that; they have to be reconstructed manually, entry by entry. Using Wayback Machine, I did find out that there used to be about 225 series under that category, and I was able to find the names of about 25 of those (at the beginning of the alphabet), which I've added.

Kitty18dnsz: Other Student Committees is nice and compact, but I don't think it's very clear. If I didn't know from our past conversation what it meant, I'd be confused about it. I've tried to think of some others using synonyms, like "extra student committees" or "auxiliary student committees," but I feel like they've got the same problem: I only understand them because I know what they're supposed to mean. Without category definitions, we may be stumped here. :/

I also don't really support making individual categories for each, because as you said, I don't think there will be enough series for each specific type of committee to have their own category.

There are separate tags for Slave/s and Slavery. Shouldn't they be merged?

I don't think so, as Slavery tag could be used in a situation where as the story progresses the MC comes across a slave trader selling slaves and moves on. However if the MC is a Slave then it would get the Slave/s tag. That's what I think any way.

kitty1826x: Although I'm not completely confident, Miscellaneous Student Committees sounds like the best bet, given the the connotation of the term "miscellaneous" (as a heading of a list among more specific headings, in order to serve as a catch-all).

I'm leaving them as is. As lifeanddeath2012 said, Slavery is more for series that focus on the practice itself while Slave/s is more for series that have slaves as prominent characters.The same goes for similar tag pairs, like Music and Musician/s, Art and Artist/s, etc.

Some category tags need to be removed from Brothers Conflict (Novel): Based on a Otome Game, Based on a Video Game, and Based on a Visual Novel. The novels predate the games by two years.

Also, for Caterpillar, the Incomplete Due to Author/Artist's Death tag can be removed, as the series just started up again with a new artist.

There's a bunch of hentai series with the tag "Borderline H".
It can't be both hentai and almost hentai.
Here's the list.

Its so sad the Long-haired Male Lead, Long-haired Seme, & Long-haired Uke tags are gone again!

Personly I liked being able to just click on one of these and almost instantly finding what I was looking for.

Yes, the problem was brought up recently (my reply here explaining why it's hard to fix). If you've read any of the series in question and could let me know which label applies (hentai or borderline H) to any of them, just let me know, and I'll remove the one that doesn't belong.

There's someone who diligently deletes all hair-related categories. I mostly agree, since hair is almost always very trivial. However, there seem to be a significant number of people who find long-haired men to be attractive, and might seek out series for that reason (and also, it's unusual), so I would be fine with a Long-Haired Male Lead tag. (After all, we do have other plot-irrelevant appearance tags, such as Small Breasts, Short Male Lead, etc.)

However, if you add it back now, it will almost certainly be deleted again--you would need to contact the one who deleted it and try to persuade him/her that it's a worthwhile category. Except... I don't know who it was, and since this isn't that important, I feel like I would be obnoxious if I sent a PM to every single staff member trying to find that person. So for now, please try to get by without it.

What's the point of Couple Growth tag? Feels redundant with the Couple/s tag around. A series focusing on a couple would naturally also focus on their growth.

Well a manga with a couple growth tag, show how the couple gets over certain obstacles and get to a better point in their relationship. (a more stable point).

There are also manga that would just show everyday life of a couple, with no problems ...

Well, you can pretty much tell by the magazine they're serialized in, but I flipped through most of them and they're all hentai.
Series like Virgin na Kankei can be dubbed "hentai with a plot" perhaps, but they're still hentai.

The only one I think should keep the borderline tag is Virgin na Kankei R.
Every chapter seems to end with sex, but it's much, much less explicit than the prequel.
