Where to begin? Let's see, a great end to the Grimmjow and Ichigo fight... not really, a minute ago they were ready to kill and then Ichigo is sparing Grimmjow... WTF? I know the heroes never kill the bad guys, but seriously, Grimmjow is one of the badass Espada for pete's sake!!! Why is Ichigo giving him mercy.
Now, Ichigo is gonna have to fight against what's his face Notora or whatever, this leads straight into another fight where Ichigo is blood soaked and tired. Oh Wait! just use Orihime and then another fight. Has anyone forgotten about Ulquiora? I can see another fight coming...
Atleast with the arrival of Notora we might figure out what happened to Chad.
Either way, I liked where this chapter was going, not where it ended up. Hopefully Kubo knows what he's doing... cause it feels like he's rushing to get out of Huece Mundo.
Well, those are my thoughts, what's is everyone else's on chapter 286 and what's to come?

Bleach has gotten so bad it's not even funny anymore.

I agree. There are whole panels full of motion line and not any character or art. It gets really boring to watch a fight lasting 5 chapters and then nothing happens before another fight. I wanna barf just thinking about how good it used to be. This seems like the manga version of the DBZ anime. Booooooooriiiiing!1

Long series will always get dull if they weren't dull in the beginning.

Well, Grimmajow should have died. All those guys who were constantly regenerating themselves should be dead. And does this manga have any direction overall? even after 286 chapters, I'm not seeing it, like I did with Naruto.

This manga jumped the shark during the Soul Society arc but has officially given up any pretension of glory wth the Hueco Mundo arc-- at best a retread of Soul Society lacking the 'twist' and at worst showing just how pathetically bad Kubo-san is at telling a story. He's a great artist and I think if Kishimoto or Oda sensei's were wrting Bleach it would have been kick ass, killed many characters and shown a knack for innovation. I'm amazed this series has been as popular to Baka readers as it has.

I think that you have said it all. Bleach used to be good, but it started going downhill with the Vizard arc, and since the Vizard arc just leads into the tripe known as the Hueco Muendo arc, there's not much point in going past the Soul Society arc. Too bad I already did. Besides, this is ALMOST EXACTLY THE SAME THING. I went away for about 6 weeks. I came back, and I'd missed 6 chapters of Bleach. It felt like 2 or 3 chapters, because each chapter has so little content. I'm actually surprised when I get to the end of the chapter. I'm like "Huh? Already? It's already done? But nothing much really happened!" I would stop reading Bleach, except that I have already started this arc, so I need to read the whole thing, and the recent chapters have had so little content that they take hardly any time to read anyway. The anime watchers will be lucky. This can all be condensed into an episode or 2, perhaps 2.5. They won't need to wait week after week for these near-content-less chapters. Heck, the fight wasn't even that interesting. At least the DBZ anime had that much going for it. Here, it was mostly Grimmjow's backstory that made these chapters interesting.

I would rather say the tho opposite. Seriously! DBZ anime was just full of filler, filler, filler all the time! It was a serious pain in the ass... but thats not the topic...

I never thought I'd say this (again lol) but this manga has gone downhill. I'm eagerly waiting for the big twist with this arc. this comic should have ended with SS arc, or made an finishing arc after that. And why must everyone survive everything.

And to Imitorar...
The anime verson won't cut it down. Trust me It'll last for 3 eps. If not more....

Actually, I'd think that the anime version would drag it out even more.
