EDIT: Thanks to whomever changed the title! Sorry for the previous spoiler title.

I just finished reading the latest chapter, and I was relieved that Mashiro FINALLY realized that it wasn't a good idea to keep going with Tanto.

Personally, I think they should shoot for the serious, dark, and/or mystery manga. I think they're better at it, and it can take more skill to pull off. Tanto wasn't doing so well...

So anyway, I'm kinda happy about it. smile What about you?

Yeah that was pretty dumb. Especially since, as far as I can tell, it hasn't even been scanlated yet.... But since it's too late anyways... I'm glad he decided(apparently anyways) to quit the manga.. But atleast everyone else knows they have enough talent to seriously make it since that was their second series and they aren't even finished with college yet.

What he said.

Still, I did hate Tanto and am glad it at least came up. They ought to do something more along their style.

"Hell yeah!" is what I thought when he said it.

I really didn't like tanto.
The idea didn't sound too bad but...the kid had one helluva ugly hairstyle ffs.
It was irking me out.
I'm looking forward to what he comes up with next.

didnt like tanto that much, they shouldve stayed with the dark, intelligent stuff.
also wish that miura will stop suggesting comedy manga.

Ah, sorry! My fault, my fault. I couldn't think of a topic that would draw people in even more. I'll change the title, if I can, a'right?

actually, ch 76 came out a few days ago. Sleepy Fans(the scanlator) didn't make an "official" release yet, but they always have it up on onemanga first, so you can read it there =)

@Mangaka714: you can pm a mod to change it or just ask them with the change request

I hope Ashirogi will make something interesting like "Money & Intelligence". Better yet, they should just make that into a series.

well finally read it kinda of emo wasnt it the first thing he did was cry to his gf instead of talkkng it out with his partner or his editor. theres 2 ways i see this heading either A) azuki tells mashiro to stick with tanto or B) we are gona get a few chapters of editor vs. mangaka. on a side note eiji and hatori are now my 2 favorite in this manga they are just toying with mashiros mind so he can reach his full potential gota love that

How was it emo?
People usually talk to their romantic partners about things like this first before anyone else.
He loves her.
That's not emo, that's romantic.

Why are you even discussing this?
It's pretty darn obvious that Miho will tell him to do what he wants.

Oh lord... lol, even I found it emo but then you have to understand his situation and since his best friend and partner in crime is married he can't just blurt this out to him. So there he is frustrated and pissed off...

I think it is about time.

Both of them have been struggling since the very beginning to try to keep the ideas flowing. They are stressed as hell. Not really enjoying it. It keeps dropping in ratings. There are so many issues with it that I wonder WHY it is only now that they think about killing it.

I wonder if this was so show what the frustration of manga-ka's in being forced to keep ''popular' series going when the manga-ka is clearly falling apart at the seems and not enjoying it.

The boys have their niche, dark, long thought out, deeply intrinsic, mystery story telling. Gag manga is clearly not for them.

The only way to keep the series alive to them is frankly make a big change in the direction of the story to something darker but unlike how Reborn! was able to do that (as when the editor brought up the series when trying to persuade them into it) this series is popular with little kids and they just can't go around killing off characters in a kiddie series.
