The beginning is kind of like any other manhwa by Hwang Mi Ri.
The black hair guy likes the girl. The girl likes the teacher. The girl has a makeover by the black hair guy. A bunch of things happened, now they are together and love each other.
A fun & interesting throw-off
She made a "school" to teach how loners like her to avoid bully & make friends. It was fun when the "students" try to figure out why they are loners. Two of them are actually not loners but pretend to be so because they thought the "class" will be funny. But they turn sincere because they feel belong there.
Now the good part.
There was a misunderstanding between the black hair guy (bhg from now on for abbreviation) and the girl.
They resolved it.
The girl's dad goes on a business trip. Bhg's parents go visit a relative.
Bhg invited the girl over. They watched movies. They sleep in separate rooms. HOWEVER the girl have a nightmare (the 2nd time actually, she has the exact same nightmare before) about bhg having a car accident. She screamed. Bhg came over. They kissed....And have sex. (Don't worry, it's not smutty but teeny; it's not HMR's style to be smutty anyway. This is the 1st time I read a manga by her where the 2 characters sleep together. I think it must be to create a "keepsake" memory for the girl for the next seemingly tragedy).
While they sleep together, she thinks how bhg was her first text (he was the 1st one to send her a text message), first friend, first kiss, first love & now...first time. She was thinking that she was glad all her first time was for bhg.
The next morning, bhg asks if she regrets doing it with him, she says no; it was cute. Then they go on a date . She took pictures of him because she wants to always be looking at him. She was feeling insecure because of the dream.
Then the same scene from the dream happened while they were crossing the street. The scene: She felt insecure, reached her hand out, chasing after him (they were in the middle of the road), bhg saw the car and pushed her out.
Bhg has after-effects from the accident: he can't coordinate his muscles in complex movements (like fighting) and fine movements (like getting food, stuff like that). People start to bully him. (He has a lot of enemies.) The girl wants to protect him so she became stronger: walking by his side with a baseball bat to scare people away, throwing chairs at students who are bullying him. When the seniors bully him, she bought a fake gun that produces smoke to scare them away.
After she told him that the gun is fake (it was after the seniors incident; they were in classroom), he smiled and said that she got stronger and he is glad because he doesn't need to worry anymore. He could go now. He smiles again and says that she should eat well, laugh.... and don't forget that he loves her. The last scene he says: I love you. As he was saying those things, he became more blurry and eventually disappeared. Overlaying his speech, the girl was thinking, "where are you going" (since he said he could "go" now and stuff above) and "I want to go with you." When his image is becoming fuzzy, she thinks "No! Don't go! Don't!"
Then a blackout. She woke up in a hospital with her dad by her side. She was in a coma for 1 month. What she experienced was only a dream. Bhg died. [So sad!!! Just after their first time!
] It seems he appeared through the dream so she can get stronger.She was devastated. But she became stronger.
11 months passed.
She goes visit his grave every single day. Today, a new transfer student sits at his desk beside her. The new guy becomes interested in her because she is strong. Here is how it happened: the transfer boy was saying that she should be glad to sit next to a guy like him. She became angry and said that she kissed an even more handsome guy before. The new guy said that the guy who kissed her must be crazy. She became mad & got out her baseball bat and scared him. The new guy confessed to her but she ignored it and go visit the grave again. It was sad. Especially the scene where the guy was fading away.
Feeling sad? Well, here's your surprise.
Bhg is still alive. He only pretended to be dead so he could go to get treatment abroad. He knows that the girl will be worry about him & not going to school so he asked her dad to lie & even make a fake grave! The girl was mad when she found out. I understand that. I mean she was very sad & cry every night looking at his pictures. But overall, she was glad that he is still alive. He proposed to her. They got married. Yay, happy ending (sarcasm).
