Okay, i have learned not to expect much from these ads, but this is a series that has to get done and its name is Jackals. I stumbled upon it a few months ago and couldnt get my hands on any raws so i finally went and bought it and loved it. I proceeded to scan it and have a good amount of it scanned in. The artwork is really good and the action gets pretty crazy later in the volume. It is running in Young Gangan now and has two volumes out. (as of 10/25, so i couldnt get my hands on the second volume on one trip because i went before it was released) From what i can tell, the mangaka himself is japanese and the artist is korean, so the style is very unlike something you would expect from a japanese artist. Now, this is a seinen series, so it doesnt have furigana but i am hoping that someone will be interested in it enough to translate it for us.

You can email me at gilrules2000@gmail.com if you are interested, but before that, here are some expectations that i have for the translator: i expect them to stay in contact and stay around for a while, if possible, so if you definitely know that you dont have time for this a month from now then i'd rather not do this unless you plan on working fast. I also would like to have some translations at hand because not having the next translation is a bitch especially for such a cool series as this, so as long as you can stay like two chapters ahead of scanlations (out at a weekly rate, probably if all goes well). Also, if you want the entire first chapter (if you are on the fence) say so in the email

My group is KO-Scans and in the past we have done Vagabond (which has been passed on to Strays seeing as my group has gone to crap and i dont have the time to keep up with a weekly series), Over Time (we'll see what happens when the tanks come out but for now this is on the back burner), Tough (we dropped it. The scanner disappeared), Stone Ocean (after Jackals, this one is going fullspeed), Mr. Fullswing (we dont have the members to do such a taxing series) and Steel Ball Run (we did it, did a joint and then stuff happened with I-O, but they have it now). As you can see, we dont have much in terms of manpower so i have decided to nix a ton of series but Jackals is really something i want to do. Hopefully some translator will feel the same way.
