Agreed! It was such a horrible end, she kissed him and then left him behind. And there were so many mysteries still to be unravelled, like what exactly is that underground city used for, or why Ritori is helping her brother, to the extent she left her love-of-a-lifetime behind. And what an abrupt ending, it seems Chiyoki will now help out the boxers guy search for Ritori. Anyways I really liked Chiyoki/Phalem/flat-chested girl, at the end, how she protected the boxers guy putting her life on the line for him and how much she believed in him.

So in my opinion, although I preferred Ritori from the beginning I like Chiyoki more than Ritori now, because Ritori was prepared to watch her brother kill the boxers guy, that is Ritori was prepared to let the boxers guy die while Chiyoki put her life, fortune and everything on the line to protect the boxers guy. So I think at the end Chiyoki's love for the boxers guy is stronger than Ritori's love for him who chose her brother over the boxers guy, even after what her brother did to the boxers guy. But yeah...the ending was so dissapointing as this manga had so much potential, its much better that the mangaka's next other manga

WHAT THE FUCK!!?? how its posible that the serie was ended like that i dont fkng understand, for that im really expecting Seven Ocean to just be like the PROMO for the real manga, thought that will be the first time i have heard of a move like that... he could have just continued the series there, and i believe the serie will continue like The Deep Seven Ocean or something, the story cannot posible ends there

I have´nt read it but 1 thing I noticed is that manga/anime creators seems to suck at endings.

Half assedly anwered possible questions. Like THE brother didnt want that anyone would find that underwater city which appearently regenerated whatever dead fell there. Stop people from playing god by destroying everyone who could get there.
Aaand the little sister just had one hellowa brother complex, big enough to the point to leave her love and blow the city.
His brother appearently died in one point, yeah, but he sank to that "godly" place, regenerated, got bad attitude and started killing ppl to protect that place.

Not just leave her love, she was going to stand by and watch her dear brother kill her love again after he had nearly killedd him once by stabbing him and leaving him for dead. Some love huh? If her love for him is that weak compared to her brother complex, I dont this kind of girl and this kind of love is worthy enough for a guy to set out on a search for across the seven seas, I would much rather stick with the girl who is not as beautiful but who noticed his sadness when everyone was comparing him to Ritori's brother and kept him comapny, and who stood there watching him while he was in coma ready to do anything, even risk her life to protect his, now that's what I call love.

And yeah you are right, the author provided some half-assed answers to the many questions. I really liked this manga as it gave off the vibe as Sindbad, Moby Dick, 200,000 leagues under the sea, all in one manga, its such a pity that it had to end this way

Every single chapter was great... but I'd rather have a few bad chapters here and there than end with only six chapters! It's kind of sad, this manga had some of the best chapters, but as a whole it wasn't so great since it seems to have gotten cut short.

Hopefully the author decides to do a sequel... I'm not going to count on it though.

Sad how it was going so well right until the last couple pages...and then the ending just makes you say...seriously...? However, on the brightside (if you can call it that) there is still the potential for a sequel since the ending is very open ended...but I sorta doubt that would happen.

seems like the reason behind this rushed ending its because minazuki suu (the autor) became incapacited

Hi guys just like you i was shocked at the ending of this manga! And for a manga to he this short i though at least the ending was going to be awsome and it started to be that way on the last 2 chapters! So i went ahead and surf the web to find any reason why this manga ended! And came across this post!.I became a member just to let u know guys what i know about the manga, I saw that one said that the author was ill or discapacitated! But the truth is that i was searching for some othet mangas he did and he has more mangas that are ongoing ! I can say from what i have seen is that the author has this and another manga complete! Sems to me that they werent positive reviews for this manga and the author decided to end the manga in a cliff hanger so readers could grt motivated and wanted to read more. Nothing more to wake up the curius minds of readers then a cliff hanger! If i find any more news about this manga or any manga related to this one ill let u know! Nowni could advised to read other mangas from the author from what ive seen he has like 6 or 5 mangas that are ongoig And its almost all about gurls like this one that we read! Luck guys
