... expect I want them to actually be dying. XD

I just recently read the first story in Kigi no Yukue which was incredibly heart-wrenching and I actually started tearing up at the end. But basically, the main character is going to die soon, so she tried to do everything she ever wanted to do, that way she could die satisfied and without any regrets.

SO. I'm looking for a manga where the main character knows they're going to die and are trying to live it up in the mean time and do everything they ever wanted. Or they could just be doing random stuff. I dunno. I'm looking for something that doesn't center around moping about feeling sorry for themselves (of course, it's alright if there is some, I'd just prefer it not be the main idea). I'd also prefer that they still die in the end and not get some cheap cop-out miracle, but it's still okay if that does happen.

Examples:
Kigi no Yukue
Heaven's Door (HONGOU Ranko)
Uhhh... the movie/book A Walk to Remember? XD

NO yaoi/yuri or shounen/shoujo ai please. I'm fine with everything else, though. Thanks!

hmm what abot if they are on death row, you know like going to be executed soon...if you are ok with something like that then Watashitachi no Shiawase na Jikan should fit, its pretty awesome.

also there is Boku Kimi--dude reluctant to be in relationship with girl he loves because he might die soon.

Ai-Ren - though it's less do-whatever-we-want as let's-be-blissfully-happy.

Watashitachi no Shiawase na Jikan
I thing it should fit. The male character is sentenced to death, so he is, somewhat dying. Besides, it's really great manga. ^^ But sad...
