Well, my bias for L is just too great 
While Light was bad-ass, for me it was all he was... L left me a lasting impression more than Light, I guess.

Light ftw! I mean, he is the main character of the manga and the manga is generally all about how awesome (lol, maybe... evil?) he was and stuff... So why not like him?
