I don't get why so many people use 'fancy' programs, I've never even thought about using a different program than Windows Picture Viewer.

Well for one most "fancy" programs use better algorithms for zooming when you read with screen width enabled. They also have functions that make it easier, for instance when you have two page scans my program has an option to display it as one page(it divides the page in the middle and shows the two parts separately)

I use Windows pic viewer...
*had no idea there were other programs*

It's good enough for me... I don't know what more you can ask besides zooming and quick page turning...

I don't read online...

I use CDisplay, because like some ppl said before, it's good, simple and easy.
But the best change ive made here was buying a widescreen 19' monitor, its ALOT better for watching series/animes or reading mangas on computer with it.

I used to use Image Viewer, but changed to Comix because it's faster to use.

For now, I just use manga-reading sites. My internet connection is fast enough and I'm patient enough so that I don't drive myself crazy over waiting. I'm probably just stupid or something but Vista keeps using a weird trial program that was installed in the computer when I got it and it's freakishly slow because I think it assumes I want to edit the pic or something. It's like photoshop but much worse and lots slower. Until I'm not so lazy and actually try and do something about it, to onemanga I go.

I use the normal Image Viewer built in in Windows Xp, i dont sense the need of something more professional/dedicated for now. But i remember AcdSee was really good and fast.

That's known as a "coin".

I LOVE where this thread is going so much that I even bother to register.
As long as you're using something that can open a .rar/.zip file (extract wtf?), a folder (and sub-folders), zoom in/out to your heart's content, you're good to go.

I thought I had too.

I used to use CDisplay when I had a PC, now that I have a Mac I use FFView. CDisplay was definitely superior, but FFView is decent and it's the best I've found for Mac.
