Haha, I was tearing up...and I was at work. biggrin
I really liked this ending in that there was plenty of closure. The page with the pictures was a nice touch too. It makes me laugh how even the dog got babies. I am really sad that there won't be anymore. Geez, everything I am following has ended or on break (House, Supernatural, Bones, Cross Game, etc.).

Oh, and yes, Edward's growth spurt did surprise me. smile

Awesome, great and a lot of other complimenting stuff.
I am speechless and rambling at the same time.

I love the ending! The way she solved the 'door of truth' riddle....
That is one great example of terrific writing skill. Seriously.

I cried ever since Greed lied.

Oh my, the first and the last lie of his was wonderful. I thought he wouldnt die--instead, Arakawa shocked me when she make Ed refused his father's life. many speculations were saying that the father will die in exchange of Al's return, but this one is even better. or perfect.

How do you say perfect to mean it? There were everything inside this manga, even cheesiness that made me cried.

This is definitely the best shonen mange (even more than One piece now, mind you--Naruto was never in my list) and I hope there is another series like this in the future.

Great ending. it answers all the questions that it raised from the beginning of manga and leaves you satisfied not feeling like you didn't get enough answers however
Spoiler (highlight to view)
what the hell was that whole Selim thing maybe I missed it but that did raise one question that didn't get answered

I like how the ending contained some cliches, but at the same
time it didn't feel cheesy at all? Nice work, mangaka! o.o/

Epic Ending!! I love how it ends without over-dramatizing it, like I never watched the anime, but if I'm not mistaken it ended with Ed sacrificed himself, went to some parallel (our) world to save Al, at least over here everybody are in I'm happy-you're happy situation without too much of exaggeration. But like everybody else, I could use a lil more romance on Ed and Winry. LoL!!!

Btw, we can actually observe that Ed actually do grow taller throughout the series. And it was pretty evident at some point he had outgrown Winry during that chapter where he and the chimeras had to hide in Winry's house after he almost died fighting Kimbley. He was shorter than her earlier in the series, than caught up during Winry pointing gun to Scar incident, then outgrow.

I thought it was a brillant ending. So satisfying to read~ I was a little teary though, mostly because I have been reading it for so many years and now it's over. It is by far one of the best manga out there. Well Done!

A fitting end to the Greatest Legacy. FMA was my first manga I started reading so I'm kinda said it ended already. Hoping for more EdxWinry scenes, but I still like the end result. Thank you Arakawa-sensei

And now it's ended... I want to know more. More about these two years, more about Al's and Ed's journey to the East and West... I wanna know about how developed Al's and Mei's relationships!)) I already know everything about Ed and Winry, and now time for lil' brother)
Well, of course the end is very good, and everything is alright, but... I just wanna more... Can't be helped I guess)

I've been a looooong time FMA fan. The ending was heartwarming, if they had ended it tragically it probably would have left a bad taste in my mouth for the next month or so. Arakawa is really an incredibly talented mangaka, she did everything right during the entire series. Dunno what else to say. Bravo. :'3

I thought that FMA ended on a perfect note. As far as the amount of romance at the end goes, well, I thought that it was very fitting--considering Ed and Winry's personalities. Very well done~!

It was pure greatness. Everything was raped up nicelly, no anoying last minute major changes.
Overall one of my favorite series, due to its stability in quality and constant mystery.

I am indeed looking forward to more works from the author.
