Don't worry they're all going to be disappearing soon anyway.

I saw it coming. There are other ways to get my manga. I'm not worried. It's just another convenient way of reading manga is gone.

Don't see why people would not download the files, when
it takes as long to see all the images as to download them
all in a rar and they even look better when they can be viewed
fullscreen. o_O

it's not a matter wether you download it or read it online, the problem is that one of the major manga sites is closing and I doubt it will be the only one. After the online sites the download sites may follow because they're illegal so no one can do anything to stop this.

Out of curiosity 1000manga is also closing? My brother told me some time ago that OM was broken in two sites actually or sth like that, I'm not sure.

truth be told, we already knew this would happen eventually

what will happen is that scanlation scene will go back to the depts of irc where it came from, or maybe hidden inside facebook or somewhere else.

you cant just host illegal things in the open like that forever

Thing is a little diffrent about download site. While we have some dozen reading sites, there are hundreds scanlator sites out there, I doubt anyone could close them all down.

i wouldn't be to be honest i would have preferred mangafox and mangahut to go and onemanga and mangatoshokan to stay.

well in that case you might want to know that mangahut doesn't work anymore. it's dead.
but i think there problems are a bit different. internal quarrels or stuff like that
you can check
http://forums.mangafox.com/showthread.php?t=158971&hig hlight=mangahut
for more info
(don't really get how to use the quote button, sorry cry )

There's only a few pages. Read them and you might find your answer... or go to OM's forum.

We always knew sites that host loads of manga, raw and scanlated, were the most vulnerable to take downs. I don't typically use the reader sites but I've always seen them as the canaries in the mines. When they start going down, it's time to backup everything and look for a host server/country less toxic.

Still, this sucks. Hopefully this will blow over before anymore sites die. If not, it'll be another test of endurance between hosts and copyright jerks. Really though, until they put up alternatives, the jerks will never curb scanlations. Hopefully they never will. License holders are too tempted to censor and cheap out on their publications online and off.

oh and i dont like mangafox... it gives ME viruses i think...

I havent gotten any viruses and Iv been using them for 2 years now... lol. I've been switching constantly back and forth between readers so meh. this is just a forced changed.

ahhh idk like im not joking it does like if im on it for like a while my kesperki shiz( thats spyware controler that helps out my computer with viruses) goes wild and then closes off the page and shiz...? so i rarely go there now... none

Mangafox gave me MAJOR viruses back when I had a PC a couple of years ago. I would go there, my internet would slow down and crap and then just shut down. And it was the hardest thing to even restart it. I heard a lot of other people got viruses from there, and some didn't. Either way, I ain't chancing it! bigrazz

Oh, OM, I'll desperately miss you! What about Akuma to Love Song? I'll never know who gets the girl!! I guess I'll go onto AnimeA since MangatoShokan is closed too...
