These are great!

When I was fourteen, I was walking home from the recreation center. Some high school boys teams were playing soccer and there were some HOT players. I became so engrossed in watching them and appreciating their beauty (mentally drooling) that I walked into a lamppost which knocked me flat on my butt. God, it was soooo embarrassing!

When I was doing the Human Chess Match for the Renaissance Festival. I was cast as the White Queen on the chessboard. For my first match ever in front of an audience, I stepped out onto the board and faced my opponent (a really big guy--I was a much smaller, sweet-looking girl--so I was trying to look tough and competent while feeling a wave of stage fright) when a woman's voice squealed, "That's my baby!" My mom was in the audience waving her hands and shouting and videotaping the whole thing. Everyone laughed. You can even hear it on the videotape.

@jarrow - you're great for doing that! You have my utmost respect and admiration.

@vinceasuna - LOL, the bike incident is just too funny. You just can't salvage any pride in a situation like that! laugh

Errr...I watched a movie SO boring I fell asleep. It was the last show of the night, and my friends left me just for fun!! I remained sleeping there until there was no one left on the theater and an employee there had to wake me up.

*blushes*

I'd say the most embarassing moment of my life was implying to my arch-nemesis that I wanted to have sex with her while her father was in auditory range. I was trying to make a snappy come back, and I really screwed that up.

edit: yeah, i've got a nemesis. What of it?

Mmm... for me, the one that comes to mind right now happened in Middle School. It was Christmas time, and they were selling candygrams (candy telegram thing) we can send to friends and stuff. My regular friends suggested that I should send one to this childhood friend of mine They also told me I should write "Merry XXX-mas." Unfortunately, I didn't know that there was anything special about XXX at the time, so I'm like, "Sure, why not?"

Well, I found out what it meant a little later... after the message was delivered. Ya, that was pretty bad... but to add to that, half the school found out that I sent a candygram to that friend and started asking me if I was going out... it was awkward partly because neither of us were interested in each other in that way, and partly because a lot of the people who were badgering me about it were people I didn't even know.
