At first I was feeling "Good lord here comes 40 more chapters of killing Aizen."
But then he got owned by Urahara.
Being a fan of his, I feel quite fuzzy inside.

I did enjoy the chapter I suppose. Even though I don't know why you need such a huge attack just to cut someone in half laugh

I'm more interested in the talk of the Spirit King, it seems as if it's not a person or simple being like a Shinigami or a Hollow.

Honestly, it felt anticlimactic. I highly doubt that Aizen's done with this. I mean, Tite didn't even incorporate the Kyouka Suigetsu into it at all. For all we know, he probably had it active the whole time and Ichigo's going to have to find out and use Gin's method of nullifying it. Then again, I don't think Aizen would have been playing along with the Shinigamis this time. But there's a bunch of things that could happen and even more loose ends, including, but not limited to...

- 0th espada fight, done or what? I really hope he isn't just a cheap and easy win without even showing it...

- Didn't Orihime have a realization earlier in the whole rescuing arc where she knew she would be the only one capable of destroying the Hougyouku(sp?)? Unless Tite wants us to forget that lol

- There has to be a Spirit King arc; he might become a new enemy, seeing as we don't know what exactly it does, or Aizen's motives for wanting to destroy it

- There should be a past arc for Kurosaki Isshin; why did he have to come to the point of using the Final Getsuga?

Also, I don't know about you guys (and bear in mind, this is from a long time back), but it really bugged me when Wonderweiss came back to fight Yamamoto. What happened to Kensei? They showed him use his Bankai and he was never heard from again...

But yeah, in all, Aizen is definitely breaking free from the Kidou somehow, and this isn't going to end soon.

So can anyone tell me whether Aizen got stronger or was weakened by Ichigo's attack?
He fused with his sword like Ichigo, so if anything he should've gotten too strong for Urahara's bullshit to work. Urahara's explanation makes no sense.

Eh it seems more like the "fuse with my Zanpakuto" stuff was just his delusion and that he really did take quite a bit of damage from Ichigo's attack. Possibly shattering his Zanpakuto? Of course that also could have just been the first stage of Urahara's Kido. Could have blown off his arm and "The Hougyoku has decided that I do not require a left arm!"

My friends were just talking to me today about how it's turning into DBZ. It's quite pathetic.

Bleach really has ground to a halt hasn't it? The series pretty much stalled once the Espada were taken out, and now it's either playing up a false end or the author is out of stem. But really, Aizen's constant power ups, Gin's random switch, this fairly poor "Ichigo's final form" plotline etc etc. I'll be honest, I'm reading it now just out of curiosity to see how it ends, not enjoyment. If this really is the end, so many plot lines have been discarded. Nel, the final surviving Espada, the people still in Hueco Mundo, Aizen's so called plan to use Ichigo's strength, Ichigo's hollow etc etc. And so many things that were rushed. His father's introduction to the fight was sudden, and lasted a few panels. This guy was supposed to be approaching Aizen's level and we never got that feel. The number of hinted concepts...Urahara's bankai has been hinted at for years, we ever going to see it?

Unless this is a false lead, this is a flat way to end things. And if it isn't a false lead, then I have no faith what ever comes next won't painfully grind on like so much of this series has.

Morbid curiosity...that's the only reason I'm reading this thing.

I really feel Kubo just decided it was time to cut the crap and quit while he was ahead.
Thus income Urahara out of no where with a Kido he placed who knows when and a vague description of describing when he placed it and how he placed it...

Kubo is just bullshittin us now. It really seems the manga has lost all forethought and Kubo is just pullin shit out of his ass.

Was this chapter more anticlimactic or just craptastic.
It must end while the memories are still good.

We'll either get an arc of him trying to get his shin. powers back or learning to control his hollow ones.
