Hmm...I dunno if anyone's mentioned this or not but...I thought Aizen was destroyed?
I thought I had missed something when I read those first few pages. Never in the previous 2 chapters did it show his unconscious body IIRC. :S

Yeah I was under the same impression as well.

Didn't something from Urahara kick in and "seal" him?

I'm still curious about ichigo's mother, i mean there has got to be something about her and for him to just lose his powers say good-bye, and do a time skip where he's married to orihime with children would seriously annoy me. i mean it would be like skipping everything just to get to an fast ending that would be satisfactory to most.but would leave a lot of questions still and a new protagonist[one of the possible children he could have with orihime]maybe would be good but they'd still have the same questions that were never answered with ichigo. it would be better to start over with at least a semi clean slate rather than the same old same old you know. and is there anyone that always saw ichigo more with rukia than orihime, i know it doesn't seem like it would be possible, but i guess i kind of wish it were i'm a rukia and orihime fan but i like rukia with ichigo a little more,maybe because it seems an unlikely relationship because he lost his powers as a shinigami. and i guess they're worlds apart in a way so orihime would be the normal choice because there's nothing stopping them from being together.also i don't think aizen was destroyed i think he was sealed by urahara with some kind of kido somehow i vaguely remember for later trial either way i see problems with trying to contain someone as powerful as aizen so not sure how thats going to go. smile

I'm interested to see where this will go. I'm hoping for a nice slice-of-life now; something seinen-y, maybe focusing on Ichigo graduating, going to college, and trying to reconcile his mundane modern life with his previous adventures.

Or perhaps a transition into an ecchi harem manga: Rukia gets one of those fake body things, and she, Orihime, and Tatsuki (the butch chick, was that her name?) all move in with Ichigo and compete for his attention while he cowers in a corner and pines away for Renji.

Or maybe a psychological thriller, where Ichigo uses his knowledge of how the spirit world actually works to solve paranormal cases from around Japan.

So much potential now that this series has ended...

Yeah, but all we saw were those spikes that were inside his body - making me think he dissipated from the force.

@jbrennan
What are you on about, buddy?
The series is still going...and why would there even be a genre transition anyways?

The series is still going...

...which is kind of unfortunate, considering this is the best point in a long time to end it, it has more holes in it than a war zone, it's become so generic as to be almost unreadable, and a sizable portion of the fan base seems to only be reading it out of a desire to see how it ends.

1) The series as-is has run its course, and anything from here would simply be a rehash of a rehash of all the same shounen shit;

2) It might actually be interesting to read again that way;

3) Kubo is a giant, giant troll

4) Yukari was fooling around again.

Although I do agree that the series should've ended at the latest arc, I still don't see why there should/would be a genre change.
"rehash of a rehash of all the same shounen shit" is part of mainstream shounen.
It works.
People still read on (case in point: Naruto), so why should it be any different for Bleach?

Then go read fanfics ._.
The only way that there would be a genre change is if Kubo officially ends "Bleach" and starts a spin-off series. Other than that, the genre will stay the same.

Kubo should just set this manga down now, and walk away.

I'm thinking time skip Ichigo going away for college and the story now focusing on the sisters who are now grown up, mainly the black haired one forgot her name, Yuzu I think. But geez there are so many unanswered questions in this manga.

Another thought, a new story begins with a new character somewhere else in the world. I also have a feeling that after the two week wait we're going to be see a long flashback maybe about Isshin and Ryuken.

The only reason I'm concerned with all the rumors of the manga ending is I'm afraid the anime will as well. No more crappy Bleach anime and crappy Bleach fillers? That would be so depressing.

His sisters are so annoying.

The only way I can see this series continuing is w/ another Pendulum gaiden, and the only way for the main story to continue would have to be a time skip. At least a year or two.

Also, I don;t know why everyone's so hung up on Ichigo losing his powers. I seem to recall the same thing happening to another important character, and now he's back at full strength. Kubo's not afraid to pull some contrived trick out his ass.

Prepare for a long time skip the next time we see Bleach since there is no other possible direction to go then the whole " everything has gone back to normal" summary then a big boss is going to come or some stupid shit like that.

Still pretty sad to see Rukia fade away.

heh i hope kyubo can get some good deas if he does that Im still waiting for isshin kurosaki's backstory >.< T.T its sad to think that i only found out about bleach a year ago and it could be ending

Aizen mentions something about a King of soul society when hes being sealed. Guess that shows Kubos got some story planned out related to that. Dont want it to end >.< One of my fav ones still>
