The oppertunity has presented itself, but I've never did it. I plan to do it atleast once this year if my school hold the event again(which they do every year).

Nope, I never met the weight requirement, but now that I do, I may donate this time around. :3

I can't! I mean to and really want to, but I'm not allowed. My hemoglobin is naturally low (at least, not Anemia low, but close), even when I'm a healthy person. biggrin I have to eat things high in Iron and stuff. dead My dad always jokes that the one who needs blood is me laugh .

No, because I just turned 18. I'll probably do it the first chance I get, though.

No. I don't like the thought of a part of me in somebody else.(besides doing x rated things biggrin ). It just creeps me out, and im paranoid that there'll end up being another person just like me except everyone likes them better...and yes i am selfish.
although i still have 2 years before im legally able to donate, so i'll probably change my mind then.

No.
I am too small (way, way under 110lb).
My health is very poor, and because of this, my blood is full of drugs >.<

Most of all, I have severe anemia.
The amount of iron I have to take every day is insane, just to keep from having very severe anemia.

If anything, I ought to be getting blood, not donating it laugh

I wish I could donate. All of my family members do, and I'm not frightened of needles at all (I get lots of blood taken for blood-work at clinics, etc.)

Its not that I don't want to donate, its just that I can't.

I'm always drunk you see...

I would but they probably don't want my blood. I have been to every continent except south America and Antarctica, I have lived most of my life in a civil war zone and the last two years in the poorest country in the world and I regularly visit Thailand and Nepal one of the poorest countries in the world. I have also been exposed to every tropical disease imaginable. Although I have never had anything serious, I also probably have a dormant from of malaria. So I would donate my blood just has a lot of shit in it.

Brrr....no way in hell...i can endure needles as injection...but constant needle in ur arm...and seeing blood dripping away from ur body...it's just terrible...-_-
I remember when i was a kid i thought that ppl have only so much blood for the whole life^_^ so i though it's strange to give it away lol

I don't mind needles that much, but I hate the idea of drawing blood. Pretty much anything that involves the inner body being affected externally makes me nauseous, thanks to a documentary I saw at a young age of a boy's knee bone cracking after he trips on his bike.

All of which is pretty odd, as decapitations, disemberment and the like don't bother me in the slightest.

I will try to donate within the coming week. I suffer from low iron at times and my veins seem to be small (according to the doctors--but they are very visible), but I hope they will let me :3.

i just got a phone call from the red cross asking me to donate. i have once and apparently the nurse put the needle in wrong b/c it HURT the entire time i was donating. i didn't really appreciate the huge bruise afterwards...maybe i'll donate again, dunno if i will...and those finger pricks they give in the beginning are the most irritating (and unfortunately necessary) part...

oh, I know that feeling...that happened to me to. apparently they literally forced/sucked the blood out of my arm and resulted in a 3-month foot long bruise that followed the vain in my arm..I've been there and don't like it =_=
but still fine with needles
