Hello there!

I'd like to suggest mangaupdates adopting a watchlist for authors/artists.

Sometimes I find authors I love, and I'd love to have a list that shows when watched authors create a new work (or when a new one is added to the database).

Does anyone else think that this would be useful?

I think something like this would be nice. :3

Too bad I'm too lazy to use any kind of MU's personal manga features... x3

I've been waiting for a feature like this for a while now. Makes it easier to track specific authors when they have new titles out.

There's actually even more of these threads; somebody linked to 7 more in one of those you linked. I didn't see any substantive responses as to why it couldn't and/or shouldn't be implemented in any of them...

Anyways, I'd really appreciate the ability to highlight new releases from specific authors; I nearly overlooked this series when it was released - I had no idea it was an Adachi Mitsuru work when I saw it on the release page (also, I don't think it was previously in the database, so I couldn't have included it on a wish list).

For example, I love Takeshi Ohbata's drawing style which is why I have read his major works. Same with Kaori Yuki, same with Ogure Ito sensei.

Hi there, i'm new here (only half n hour) n i joined becouse i love an mangaka n wanted to keep track of her -i think it is a she, hell one can never trust in the net hahhaha even so i love her/him whatever-.
I have saved the link in an -ehh folder? ((truly don't know the word you use for what in my languaje is "pestaña")) but it isn't the same so i decided to join to keep better track hhhahahah. i think it is kinda latte but sorry if i writte horrible my english is basic, pulid for all kind of fandoms in years but basic, also i'm still procesing all the rules i just ended hahhaha n the faq! hahahahha to not find the author list i thought would be xDDD... n well i see they say to search before one post or asked for something n i see that they are... yes 7 post asking the same already hahahah so in all rule (i hope xP) i will sume my vote for this in the seven hoping one will be read... but even so i truly wonder (like they do in the 1st post i think), --- if it is too much? ---. i mean n sorry for my basic english. I don't know anything ANYTHING about a web page, i use them a lot but i never do one myself so all is a mystery to me hahahaha i truly can't think in all the ehhh commands? codes? or whatever is to make 'that change' to a page. even think of severals pages! one do each page? there is a main basic form for the author info or "you" the person that make the squeare that would allow to me to follow my fav author more comfortly muahahahahha becouse tht is the main point here. one is to tired to seach each time for our fav authors hahha n they are our fav beware! n would love to have a place (here) with a link to check all them behind few clicks hahahahha. so coming again i would truly like to know if the work is too much work, n please im don't complaining, i truly want to know if the squeare i ask (but it could be a circle or star a little flower if you like more hahahha ) would slave a person 1 week or more in from of a computer making him/her loose his real life like job/exams/importants relationships -hell all is not money- (ehhh i don't like the 'real' word but i can think of other now) n if it is becouse that that the change is not aproved. Well, sir/mam, an author watchlist has been suggested since the beginning of time and I think it would still be a while for that to ever be implemented, but if you want to follow your favorite authors more "comfortably" simply make a list for them. :3 Add all their series to one list and set it to wishlist or reading or whatever. It's a good way to keep track of them. Of course you will never be notified of a new series from the author, but eh, nothing's perfect yet. ;')

Oh and, I think you only had to post this one time. Although, kudos for bringing to attention how many times this has been suggested. o/
