The story starts off with a gentle girl playing in a field with a wolf spying on her. The wolf is a gentle creature (as can be interpreted by the things he is holding) and he admires the girl while hidden. The wolf falls out of the tree he was hiding in when the branch snaps. When his presence is reveled the girl is terrified and the wolf panics. The wolf's solution is to make the girl laugh by putting flowers on his head and in his nose. The girl and wolf become great friends. Later on, the wolf sees the girl being raped because her grandmother (the really ugly and manlike old person in the bottom left corner of the rape page) was selling her body because she had different colored eyes. The wolf takes revenge for the girl by killing the grandmother but regrets his actions. Then the villagers and a hunter (the one with the scars over his eyes) go after the wolf for revenge. The wolf is captured and was to be publicly executed by the hunter. During his execution it was raining. The girl could only watch and cry as her friend was killed. The wolf held up a flower to symbolize their friendship until his strength vanished. The crowd cheered because they presumed the wolf was dead until the village dam broke and the town flooded. Everyone is swept away by the massive amount of water, including the girl. In the water, the girl spots the wolf's body and goes after it but is taken under by a massive wave. The wolf, which was presumed dead, got the girl to land but didn't survive. The girl wakes up and immediately searches for the wolf by going to the field that they played in. The girl called for the wolf but he never came. It ends with the girl breaking down into tears.
