You probably have already heard that psyren ended this week in Japan. Apparently, chapter 144 was the last one. Or was it? I find it extremely hard to believe that the ending could've been done in only one chapter, since they were still in the future, beating the crap out of mithra. So, what do you guys think? Could psyren really have ended? Will it return in some other weekly magazine? Leave your opinions.

hopefully if it ends it will be one of those where the characters have there back to a sunset and in big letters and it says "The fight continues" and at the bottom it will say end.

it cant possibly drag on more......i think the author is right in ending it.......i mean ageha defeated the enemy boss so easily in future so defeating him in present should be peice of cake too.......

If this is the ending (saw the raw but i cant read that), the i cant even say what i think. The first impression is they cut it in half with a scissor. Was the statistics so bad that they abandoned it?

Hopefully it isn't a complete rush in this last chapter, it was heading to a ending for a while so I'm not surprised it's over.

It's a complete rush when this chapter is the last.
I hate rushed/axed endings. I refuse to read them if that is on their description tags.

I've thought for a while that it was ending and after the latest couple of chapters, everything just seems rushed.

Last chapter is 145 in Issue 52 of 2010. Sad to see the series go, but we all knew it was coming. It lasted 2 years longer than I thought it would. 3 years is a pretty solid run for a Weekly Shounen Jump manga anyways. I hope Iwashiro comes back with another great manga in the near future.
It was interesting, but i really don't like time paradox storys. But this was enjoyable.

Seems like there's a "next issue". whether THAT issue is the last or not remains to be seen though.
