I watched Contact not too long ago. So, so good! I could watch this movie many times and never get bored of it. It's definitely one of my favorite movies.

Monster (2003). Recently re-watched this. It was even better than the first time, absolutely brilliant. I cried at the ending - and that is an extremely rare occurrence. Without a doubt one of the favorite movies of all time.

I'd really like to see The Lorax and Mirror Mirror in theaters, if I get some spending money.

Leon the Professional

through the entire movie I had a feeling that the actor who plays Leon looks like a friend of mine, when I look it up, turned out they have the same last name.

that aside, this movie is probably for lolis hahahaha

Antique Bakery

I never read the manga but the movie has taken on a new approach to explore both the funny and Tachibana's haunted past.

silent house: the camera follows a girl all the time like some sort of documentary, a style that I find annoying (good thing she was pretty, although she couldn't act well), then she sees things in her house and 'they' attack her father & uncle, who looks as if he has a thing for her. Shit gets crazy and you'd think there are demons or some supernatural phenomenon until the end when it is revealed that
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
the girl is insane after being abused as a child, & of course the father puts on the eye-patch & goes 'Har, har, I'll fucking hit you for no reason & be completely abnoxious because I'm an evil pedophile!'
So, yeah, not the worst premise, but still a crappy one.
