The manga was entertaining but i couldn't get over him choosing meg. What was the author thinking. She was pretty much a background character throughout the entire story was even willing to leave him for the ghost.

On the other hand, theother girl only followed him and stayed with him because of her feelings for him and it even seemed like he felt the same way. It was just a complete suprise that he didn't choose her. Very disapointing. It really didn't make any sense.

Thatsnthe one thing i hate about manga, a lot of things just dont seem to make a lick of sense. Or maybe somthing was just lost in the translation. Who knows.

Megumi really can't do anything because she doesn't have any power she is the typical damsal in distress. If you consider the childhood friend factor and even while she was kipnapped she did not waver in her feelings for Taisuke and after all that if Megumi didn't end up with Taisuke seems wrong. If Megumi did waver in her feelings then I would prefer Nami over Megumi. Taisuke is almost the same but he did have uncertainty but Megumi reassured his feelings for her when she sent the messenger to find Taisuke and let him know she is alright. Overall it was a well written story which concluded nicely.

All of you are saying that Megumi was chosen... altough i don't see that. o_o From what i could tell he didn't choose neither Megumi or Nami. This type of conflict between the 2 heroine girls happened also in Ichigo 100%, altough there the mangaka chose one of the girls. I'm guessing right from the start the mangaka had planned Megumi to be the one chosen, but as the story progressed and progressed the Nami character grew and i think in the end he wanted to choose Nami as the one chosen by Taisuke. He couldn't decide from one of the 2 girls so he left the ending open, looking as if Taisuke didn't choose yet. I don't know why he didn't choose, either because he liked both characters equally, or because of his sickness. Anyway it was a great manga, i liked all of it (Except for the ending, i also hoped Taisuke would choose Nami bigrazz) RIP KAWASHIMA Tadashi.

I was talking above about Ichigo 100% being similar in the decision making, here's a link to one of the pages at the end of the manga explaining his decision for choosing:
