i think many people have some manga in mind after reading the title.
basically something like
GantzAphorismand Psyren
High School of The Dead also fits but
there isnt someone who control the "game" like in the three.
i think thats a really interesting aspect.

Well a manga similar to that is what im looking for.
Also id prefer mangas where the human race has to fight monster or aliens or else.
so [m]Battle Royal[/m] is off but
still just recommend anything you got in mind that actually fits

It would be difficult to match all your conditions: stories with a master manipulator controlling everyone tend to involve characters fighting each other, whereas humans fighting off monsters or aliens are unlikely to have a single gamemaster driving the conflict.
