Mother = Amma
Father = Baba

I used to call my dad "Abbu" but started copying my cousin then, as my mom says. And I used to call two of my uncles Daddy...

Mommy... though I'm sure I called her "mẹ" when I was a wee child.
Daddy or "bố" for my dad...

My dad refers to himself as "bố"... whereas my mom switches between "Mommy" and "mẹ" (but I think she refers to herself as "Mommy" most of the time) smile wink grin

I can tell that ur viet ^.^
Mama= má
Father= baba
Both names are like in the middle of vietnamese and chinese.. i guess.

Dad - Daddy or Papa.
Mom - Mother, if I'm patronizing her, Mom if I'm annoyed with her, Mama or Mommy normally.

Dad= Old Man, Dad, or if I'm being sarcastic 'Daddy.' Old Man is used most frequently.
Mom=Mom.
Don't really have any nicknames for her.

Mi and Di. laugh For some reason, I just don't like the sound of mom/dad. When I talk to other people about them, though...that's the only time I'll address them as mom/dad.
