Lots of my favorites have been mentioned.
I recommend:
The Chronicles of Josan by Patricia Bray
The Godslayer Chronicles by James Clemens (only 2 books so far but I'm sure there will be more... eventually)
The Riftwar Saga by Raymond E. Feist
I second all these series:
The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson (even though only 1 book is out)
The Watergiver series by Glenda Larke (2 books out)
The Inda series by Sherwood Smith
The Black Jewels trilogy by Anne Bishop
The Curse of Chalion by Lois McMaster Bujold
The Codex Alera by Jim Butcher
If you don't mind books for younger readers, I also recommend the Circle of Magic series by Tamora Pierce. I still read those on occasion.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I've read some of them (Tamora Pierce, Nix, Anne Bishop, Padalloni, MaCaffery, ) but most of them I haven't.
Really, thanks SO much y'all. Honestly, when I posted this I didn't expect so many suggestions. I'm happy!

Nice, this thread may not be mine but I'm using it to find more books...looks like I'll be satisfied for a while now.
I guess I will try Warbreaker, then, after I finish the pile I have to read now...

If you liked the Black magicains trilogy, u might like some of her other books. Theres "the Magicians apprentice" which if before that trilogy and "the ambassadors mission" which is the start of a new trilogy about what happens after.

I've been in love with Tamora Pierce's books since I was 10 XD
I don't think anyone mentioned David Eddings. I've read his Tamuli series, and he has a dry humor in his stories. http://www.eddingschronicles.com/index.html
Marion Zimmer Bradley wrote a lot of noteworthy Avalon books, starting with Mists of Avalon.

One of my favourite high fantasy writers is Guy Gavriel Kay. When I read the Summer Tree, the first of his Fionavar Tapestry trilogy, it was just about the best high fantasy book I've ever read. The rest of the series just gets worse, though.

Sorry if I recommended repeats, I don't think I did.

Thanks for the suggestions, you two.
Jeez, there are so many books! I won't be able to read them all before school starts.

I highly recommend the Jelindel Chronicles (By Paul Collins), and His Dark Materials if you haven't read them yet.

I second Guy Gavriel Kay and I would say that his most popular/best novel would be The Lions of Al-Rassan. It's one of his best and unlike most fantasy writers, GGK is able to write self-contained novels without having to resort to the usual drawn out six or seven book series.
Erikson's Fall of the Malazan is for the die-hards. I've been reading fantasy for a long time and this series is definitely one that has tried my patience. It's not like the Kingkiller series, which is a very fast and light read. If you don't like the first couple of books, then you won't like it all. Most people who don't like the first never get past that one anyway.
There's of course, the classic Game of Throne series, which someone else mentions. It's sort of the gold standard in fantasy right now, so you'll probably have heard of it. If you haven't taken a glance at it, I'd recommend you read this first.
And don't forget Robin Hobb's Farseer trilogy as well. Best to start with Assassin's Apprentice.
