I'm a sucker for a good romance, but I hate when stories drag out in relationship drama. I want something that has a side romance that builds over time (please no love triangles). I love comedy and action so if the story falls into one of those categories I'm all over it. I prefer happy endings and a kick ass female lead. Not one that needs her but saved every other page and cries insistently.

I adored Ouran High School Host Club, and Full Metal Alchemist. Wasn't such a fan of Inuyasha.

Tokyo Crazy Paradise fits exactly. don't get turned off by the art, the story's great.

The ones that would fit perfectly:

1/2 Prince
Bara no Maria
Red Lion
Saver
Superior

And the ones that would fit some what... :

Kaichou wa Maid-sama <- She's really strong and can beat guys up,
but she's not as "bad"
Knight Princess <- She has a special power but its not heavily
focused on fighting.
Operation Liberate Men <- I think its gender blender but again not that
focused on fighting
Rure <- Same as Knight Princess
Spirit of the Ocean <- Same as above.

Still I highly recommend those because they do have fighting and romance, with non crybabies


Also I would suggest ANYTHING by Hwang Mi Ri. But all her plotlines are the same with strong girl meets stronger boy and she just then gets weak >.> Still I really like her works and at least they have strong female leads!
