Simple question. Personally, I want her to be with Andou. I like Ren, but her being with him would be so . . . obvious, you know? Let's get something more interesting!

Andou. I know how the manga ends, so I can confidently say from beginning to end, I just liked him better as a character.

Ren has no personality and I wasn't exactly impressed with their falling in love story: they ride the same train and he gave her a cellphone strap that his girlfriend picked out. I also dislike the fact that Ren's efforts to be with Ninako don't equal her efforts to be with him. Basically, all Ren has to do in this story is open his arms and Ninako will fall into his lap. (And it's not just Ninako, but pretty much any girl he runs across.) It's hard to root for a guy who has it so easy. And speaking of other girls: Ren already has a perfectly nice girlfriend!

Andou, on the other hand, is a much more enjoyable character. He has a fun personality and I admire how hard he tries to get Ninako's attention. I also like the fact that Andou is flawed. He feels more like a real person to me than Ren, who strikes me as unrealistically perfect.

In short, Ren is the obvious, we've seen this same scenario in a million other shoujo mangas choice, but Andou is the more interesting choice. (How often do shoujo heroines get over their "precious first love" and find someone new?)

I have mixed feelings about it..

At first I liked Ren, but as the story progressed I stared liking Andou.
I like Ren I think he's alot like myself, but then I like Andou cause I
think he's absolutly adorable. I would be fine with either one.

Ninako is a worthless character with no redeeming features.Both Andou and Ren fell for her for really no reason...it's awful. Neither match with her.

I've changed my mind. Now I want option 3: Danchou. He's so nice to her, and they work well together.

I wouldn't go so far as to say Ren has NO personality. He's just introverted, albeit probably dull if you met him in real life and aren't close.
Now as for them falling in love, it's not like it happened immediately and for most people it isn't grand like a movie, but it happens normally. Ninako only saw him as an idol until they started associating with each other; and really how long does it take to realize you like someone, especially if it's a hot guy? I personally, liked watching Ren fall in love with her slowly as he got to know her.
Also, it's not like Ren had it easy. He was already in a relationship and it takes him awhile to figure out his feeling for Ninako. With his long relationship with his girlfriend, it's not like he could suddenly lose all feelings for her either. I mean she was his first love and all. When he realized his feelings for Ninako were growing deep and true, he couldn't just break off his current girlfriend when she was going through tough times. He's too nice to do something that cruel.
When he finally does end things with his girlfriend, he didn't confess right away to Ninako since he didn't know whether she liked him anymore, so he's was afraid of rejection like any other normal kid.

Both of them have their good points and when it comes to love there could also be a person who fight much and is a troublemaker, but you still like him, so in this manga i just want her to be happy with the guy she loves )

I vote for Ren. I mean, besides the fangirling of his fantastic face and nature, I think he suits Ninako the most. Andou, for the most part... is a little... too much. At first, when I was reading it when it was still ongoing (in scanner world), I thought Andou was very down to earth. But, I went back and read him when he first met Ninako, and I didn't like Andou as much as I did. I loved him when the chapters came bit by bit, but now that I have reread it, Andou is a downer for me. I love him to death, but not as much anymore. He doesn't really act serious, and he's really too pushy sometimes. If I was Ninako, and when Andou asked what he could do, I would've said for him to show the real him. He's way too aggressive (in attention wise) and I would've loved it if he could've calmed down a little and show his real personality. Ren's for me But, only because he has a nice face, because I admit, he has [u]NOOOO[u] personality. At. All. But I loved them during their date

I voted Andou coz I usually root for the "competition". I think the very reason why Ren falls for her, is why she fits with Andou so much better. They are 'fun' characters!!! As much as I love love love Ren I think she fits Andou better.

... Andou. He's an interesting, original, random, engaging, and adorable character. I have nothing against Ren at all; he's reserved and introverted in an adorable way. both characters are portrayed more realistically than male leads in your average shoujo. I certainly support him with Ninako, and I wish them a happily-ever-after. However, Andou takes the cake, as a character.

On a side note: I think I'm blind or stupid. Someone please confirm this for me, because I don't function well on only a few hours of sleep: are my eyes deceiving me? Doesn't Ren have fewer votes than Andou despite the fact that the graphical representation of the results somehow shows him ahead of Andou?) It's just... kind of interesting.

Of course Andou! He did everything for ninako's sake. He even made himself look bad just for ninako to be happy. And let's admit it, though ren is everything-a-bishounen he's no match for the heroic deeds andou has done.
