I put none. The fact is that most of the comfy in manga is not my type of comedy. The whole extremely disfigured drawings over dramatic expressions, doesn't work too often, in my opinion. That being said, few manga can pull it off quite well and I enjoy it. Usually that's because comedy is a main focus, not some random snippet here and there which is was most manga is plagued with sadly.

Well, comedy is among my favorite genres, but it's not like I want it to be present in every manga I read. If it's present I enjoy it, if not, as long as the manga is still interesting I will read it. A good laugh is always enjoyable for me.

I agree with the majority; moderate humor is enough.

I went for moderate.

Nothing's worse than too many forced jokes in comedy.

Only a liitle, as a means to put some light-hearted moments into an otherwise serious manga.
I'm no fan of manga purely centered on comedy as they usually involve a fair amount of puns and those lose a lot of impact during the translation as they have to be explained before you can get them.

I went for just a little, probably because some of the comedy mangas I read usually end up as hit or miss. laugh

It depends on the manga. I can't give a definite answer since I read so many genres, but I voted moderate to even it out between series I read with comedy and without comedy.

I voted just a little. I like to read more serious or somber stories, but there still needs to be some humor or the characters don't seem real and the more subtle the better.

Since we are assuming it's my type of humour, I'd say half. If there was a manga that caters to my funny side with a silver platter I would love it, but too much of a good thing can be a bad thing, so I wouldn't want to overdo it.

It depends on what I'm reading. Sometimes it's better to be serious, but I do love comedy in the series that aren't so serious.

I like serious plot with a little humor.
Can't attach to manga with a lot of humor

Picked just a little.

Somewhat restrictive poll, since I like to read
humour as well as serious drama, but I prefer both
more when the other one is not present at all.
When I want humour, I sure as hell want it as much as possible,
but when I want to read some bittersweet melodrama, I prefer
it absent, unless it is used as a dying whisper to
display affection.

I answered medium.

Most of the series I own are romantic comedies, and many of those are about 50-50. I have a few just plain comedy series, and a few super serious ones, and those are good too when I want a departure from the norm. I think it depends on the humor though. Even if a series has the right balance between humor and seriousness, if the jokes are bad, cliched or repetitive then I'd prefer less of them.
