I worked in my grandfather's small sports shop for a while some three years back (was let off when the store was closed and sold off). And a year ago, I was a lounge-boy working in the pub/restaurant close to my house, but I was let off due to this economic downturn.
I've sold a coupe of pieces of artwork to people once, including my own school, so I guess I can call myself a Freelance Artist for the moment. bigrazz
After college, I hope to get a job in Animation, most likely abroad. But I imagine I'll have a job during college too...

I'm studying game programming and looking forward to complete college, which is this summer smile. I have work on the side. It's one of the most relaxing jobs there is. I help people who have some kind of trouble fitting into society, some mental problems, handicaps etc. The only thing I really need to do is being a friend to 'em. A really great job! biggrin cool

This post makes me feel sad... I feel like I'm not aiming to be what I wanted. Currently I'm going to VT studying to become a Chemical Engineer, but honestly, what I wanted to be when I was little was to be one of those guys that host shows on the Travel Channel, lol. The ones who get to travel to various locales around the world, see all those amazing sights, and tasting all the foods they have to offer... but... seeing me, I'm not exactly fitting for such a job, lol. Oh well, guess I'll just save up my money then travel when I retire.

Oh, that is exactly my dream job, too! It would be awesome to travel the world, learn new things while having fun at the same time and get paid for it, too!

And yeah, I'm not fit for it too *shrugs* So I guess I'll just have to pay my travels on my own...lol

I don't know what I wanna be. I'll probably end up being a teacher, or anything not a therapist I could do with a psych/sociology major. I was thinking of just doing a Literature major, but Psychology is more interesting.

I know as a part-time job during college , I would like the work at Barnes and Nobles though. Or just any bookstore.

Go GTO on those kids! laugh I'll be a horrible teacher, it'll probably be along the line of, "Here's today's lesson. Take a packet it. Work it out. stfu. I'll be at my desk." lol

XD. I'd probably do Ok, as long as the kids weren't TOO stupid. I can't abide stupid people. Maybe I'd teach an AP class, so then they would all be quick kids who I don't have to explain the same freakin' thing to eighty million times.

I don't have a job...never had one, and during this upcoming summer will need to look for one although I don't want to, but its time for me to have a job since I have no money to start college during this fall. XD So I will look for a job at a bookstore since I don't like crowded places...As for as to what I want to study as a future career..its still a bit vague, but I might go for being a nurse, although I don't like job but I wanna try it out at least for a day, or a business administrator, or a book illustrator..or in fact any type of illustrator, and for the last option an engineer, either architectural or technology related... =___=
I have no hopes or motives in life so if life throws me lemons I'll just have to pick them up. =___= BUT I'm sure that if life throws me a lemon that says 'teacher' on it, I'd probably throw it back. I'm not up to handling kids...although I could follow Lnc411's advice. XD But they'd probably fire me for giving the students corporal punishments. =___=

I started a dog-care company in my neighborhood when I was 12, which expanded into a care service for all pets. I had this going until I was 16 with over 20 clients. I then got a job at dairy queen and worked there for over two years while in hs and over the summer. Now that I am at college I tutor and plan to become a residence assistant next year.

I did computer science, then went into something completely different. I implement and support project management/document management systems for a Construction Company, I rarely have to program anymore ... reason i do it is because after i finished uni I decided that I couldnt stand sitting behind a desk at a computer programming all my life cause thats just boring so instead I get to travel around every month or so sometimes multiple times a month and go to different construction projects.

problem is when you do something for a while it becomes to easy and gets boring ... i get bored to quickly so im trying to think of something new to do, might go back to school (only left in last couple of years) and complete my japanese language bit (never finished it) and go teach english or something ...
