The first story of Rensen. A few famous classical poems are quoted here.
It's a stretch, but maybe Chihayafuru. The karuta played in the story is Hyakunin Isshu (100 people, 1 poem).

You should look for some movies of Shakespeare's plays. Some of them are in all verse. And some other movies based on plays.

A Room and a Half (based on the life of Russian-American poet Joseph Brodsky)
Joe Gould's Secret
Slam! (hood movie? should have something to do with poetry, haven't seen it myself)
