Umm, maybe I'm just getting too old to change topics quickly. Chapter 51 is still Mayu and Takuma. 52 and 53 are a hard-cut to another couple. Can anyone explain the continuity to me? confused

I seem to see that the young man involved, Kou, is Mayu's ex (which makes no sense, since when was she not attached to Takuma), and visits Takuma in the hospital. But where did those two come from? Can someone with a more flexible brain than I have please give me a backwards reference to their introduction?

Thanks

The change of perspective is necessary for the next part of the story...
Kou is the former dorm representative that fell in love with "princess" Mayu.

You have to wait until the next few chapters to find out the real meaning behind why Kou's perspective is important and why it is essential to the drama of the story. It's an important story arc. For now, treat it like a one shot inside the story. Don't completely ignore it, but do read it for the romance.

Also, Kou is not Mayu's ex per say.... it's more of... due to Takuma pushing Mayu away, Kou stepped in to heal her broken heart. She agreed because all she ever loved was Takuma, and she felt as if Takuma betrayed that love by choosing someone else other than her.

I can't explain the whole situation without giving you spoilers, so I don't know how to put it without the oneshot idea.

Thanks! Maybe I should learn to read Japanese, so I don't have to read at the rate of scanlation. Then again, I'd just have asked the same question sooner, since the original is published at a similar pace.

The parts seems to be unimportant, but you will understand why
