I have 2 if you count both ears as 1 and my belly button makes 2. It took 3 attempts to get my ears pierced, the first was when I was 11 and the stub went inside my ear, I had to go to casulty to get it out. The second attempt was a year later, and it got infected. My 3rd and successful attempt was when I was 14 and it got a little infected but I persisted. I rarely wear earrings though as it hurts me after a while.

I got my belly done when I was 17 and, other than the initial pain, it was fine. I wear my belly bar all the time.

I'm done with piercings, next I'm going to get a tattoo.

I had my ears pierced when I was a preteen but got an infection and never bothered to get them redone. I have no desire to get a piercing now.

Piercings and other body mods are interesting though. I actually adore eyebrow piercings in particular. Don't know why.

Bump...
I‘m planning on getting my ear/s pierced, I only want a simple one at each ear or one on one ear,
But I‘m kinda scared, *sigh*, I‘m such a coward,
but maybe I‘ll still will for I find it cool, maybe...

Piercings...
I have my standard lobe and also my upper lobe pierced (in both ears...). I also have a industrial in one of them and this one is my favorite. <3 I also have a nose piercing.
So...
I guess four places in total, but six piercings?!
I really wanna get a tragus piercing too!
Edit: Did two more. Now I have eight! c:

@Knightzomegaz, are you scared of the pain or scared that you won't like it? If it is about the pain, it doesn't hurt at all to pierce the lobe (if the normal one means "standard lobe piercing")... if you are scared you won't like it, just don't use the earrings and the hole will close easily.

I got my ear pierced with a ear piercing gun... then, later I found out it is not good to your skin etc. Because it is really fast, so you only get a little burning feeling in the place you pierced, but since it is fast, they cause blunt force trauma. Mine it is okay, tho... even if I used a ear gun.
So, if you are going for a needle piercing, it is safer and doesn't hurt a lot too, I mean, there is pain, but not that kind you are going to scream "STOP!" if you know how to deal it... Take your fingers and pinch your lobe to the max. and see if you can handle it, it is almost the same feeling...

But I don't know how to really tell you if it hurts or not. I pierced my cartilage too and for me it doesn't hurt a lot too... and people say in the cartilage hurts more than in the lobe.

Uhm, scared of the pain and infection, yeah...
Yeap, by normal, I mean “standard lobe piercing”, and I still haven‘t had any experience on piercing, you sure it won‘t hurt? the normal kind??

But I think that I‘ll like the look of having an earrings, yeah..

Just casually barging into this conversation haha shy
I actually got my lobes pierced back in August 2013 and the entire procedure was quite simple, and not painful at all! I got mine professionally done, so they used the pierce gun and to be honest, it's really as simple as stapling a sheet.
I had some friends with me to comfort me but seriously, I took a seat and just heard two clicks for both ears.
I actually asked 'Is it done?' cause I didn't feel anything at all
There's nothing to worry about!! The standard lobe don't hurt at all biggrin

edit: fixing up my grammar again, it's not the best at 4:39am LOL

Ah, thanks for this replies,
it really helps, but I think that I won‘t get a piercing till for the next couple of months, need to find someone who‘ll also get one first...

I remember when I was about 8yrs old, I accompanied my cousin(about 10yrs old) get her ears pierced, it was done with the gun, didn‘t end fast for she was crying before it even started, lol, and cried like crazy when it was in progress, that‘s why I‘m kinda scared, this traumatized me a bit, I guess..

Anyway, thank you...

Getting it professionally done is with a needle, not a gun.

"Professional" to me has always meant getting ears pierced at a store or something and NOT by a friend at a slumber party. laugh Technically the real "professionals" are probably those who do all sorts of piercings and use the needle, but for something as simple as earlobes, the gun thingy at a jewelry store works fine (though I would NOT recommend it for pretty much anything else).

All of mine (9 in the left ear, 7 in the right ear) were done at jewelry stores in the mall, with the little gun thingy. None of them really hurt (though my ears did turn bright red right afterwards), and all of them healed up fine (though the higher ones did take longer). As long as you clean them regularly & don't have a sensitivity to the metal, they should heal up fine.

I have 2 ears piercing, one on one ear and one on the other ear. I used to have 3, like one on one ear and 2 on the other ear. But that one hurt like a mother -beep- so I had a tough time taking it off. But eventually I took it off, weird thing is sand water helps me take it off, while alchohol doesn't help or whatever I used back then.
