i think most of you here miss the title of the story which is legend of maian... thus is mainly pointed at felix since he is a descendant of maian the great. One more thing is Felicia isn't dead yet cause felix still holds her mana.

He doesconfused I thought that they had completely broken the seal because felicia and felix had sex.

Actually from what I've heard:
Spoiler (highlight to view)
The novel involves time travel and some stuff like that. So either she is dead or trapped in some dimension.

I hate stories in which there's a damsel in distress. Come on man, why can't they just show them as contributing members of the group!? It's not like they are weak or anything!!! mad mad mad mad mad

I don't really consider this thing a Damsel in Distress... If it plays out like I hope then Felix will get stronger thinking that Maian is dead. He'll go on a revenge quest only to find out that she isn't dead, just changed and helping the evil guy out. He goes on a mission to save her... To me this something a little different than the traditional Damsel in Distress where the Damsel can't fend for herself and is locked in a tower.

I like to think of it as a Damsel in need of a Wake-Up Call... Or something like that.

Call it whatever you want, there's too many mangas/manhwas which use this. Some of the top of my head - Mahou Sensei Negima, possibly The Breaker : New Waves, and many more which I have forgotten. Thing is, the female always ends up in a situation in which she needs help, and only the male can help her. She's shown in pathetic situations - and I can't tolerate that. Honestly, one of the few things I liked about Im Dal Yooung was that he made the females strong. Here, you don't even have that! mad mad

Are you kidding me? Felicia is probably the most ruthless female Im Dal has created. Felix is the one that looks likes the damsel in the distress. Felicia supposely gave up her life in order to save felix. The one that needed help is not female but the male.

The only thing I don't like at the end of this volume is the regis knights....they don't do sh*t! Felicia fights and the knights just act like cheerleaders...I wanted to see some teamwork, but nope nothing.

But she's the one who'll probably need his help from now on! Come on, the entire time you see the protagonist's friends on the wrong side of the war, and him battling his feelings and his duty - whcih the mangaka's usually stretch for a long while - is the most irritating part. Look at Naruto - Sasuke!

I was shocked that Felicia and the Regis Knight were killed. To think Felix and Ruby are the only one who survives. Maybe Maian the Brave's Comrades' descendant will be the new character and comrade of Felix since Volume 11 did kind of hint that. Wow it makes me want to read Volume 11 immediately.

I refuse to believe Felicia is dead since as many before me stated if she did indeed die then that would also mean that Dia Shion would die too and well i'm pretty sure that he wouldn't have gone through the last one thousand years of preparation in order to seal and control her power for himself only to kill her and himself....... that just doesn't make any sense and for what's going to happen next i can only hope that it focuses on Felix mastering his Bloodfines power, he'll probably end up mastering it by getting visions of the Maian the brave using various techniques like how he did in the latest chapter or through the activation of the Bloodfines in which he might automatically remember them like how Uraeshi Soun was able to remember his father's technique during the match against David Schole after the rivland was restored by Felicia and well from the looks of it he will get new companions and of course he is going to be pissed after all he did just watch his beloved die in front of him at the hands of the guy who i hope will continue to be the main antagonist in the next volume, also if Felicia does get controlled by Dia Shion and ends up helping him and eventually fighting against Felix i would be truly disappointed if she ends up dying by his hand cause it would just throw all my hopes for my Felix/Felicia ending but its just my opinion.

If there's time travel in the novel I bet he'll go back in time and become "maian the great" and then start his own family line where eventually he'll be born lol >_>

It's also possible that diha killed her without killing himself. I mean, he's had 1000 years to research magics of all sorts. He was willing to spend a shitload of time to chant that nuclear bomb spell so i think he's quite committed when he has an objective. And as someone said
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
the novel has time travel it seems more likely that she's dead.
I could imagine it turning out either way.

I think I know what is going to happen. I think Felix is the legendary guy and he is going to go back in time 1000 years and fight in the war. Then when he faces Feicia Rand Philistin in the war of course he cant kill her and uses his life to seal her. I think this will become one of those classic love tragedies where two lovers are never in the same time frame.

P.S. Still looking forward to Volume 11 >.< biggrin

yeah I was thinking of the same thing. Though that would be more tragic, "ending" wise
