Videogame: Pokemon all the way, manga and anime, used to watch them like clockwork, but not they're not even relevant anymore, cards, I like to look at Pokemon cards, don't really play Yu-Gi-Oh.

i was addicted to the pokemon games and card. i was swept into the pandemic. i never really had a chance to get into yu-gi-oh. Ninetales ftw.

Pokemon. I have to say I'd choose pokemon over yu-gi-oh, but I still love them both. I wish they got a good pokemon manga going. Like yu-gi-oh duelist - one that follows the anime. I'd have every volume. ^_^

I love Pokemon <3 Though I don't really know the English names of Fifth generation, and I only watch the anime when my little sister is watching it.
Yeah I guess I'd have to say I kinda preferred the Yugioh anime over Pokemon one. Jeez, I loved Malek or whatever that evil blondie was called

I like pokemon as an anime, manga, and game; however, the men from yu-gi-oh are waaaay hotter!!

Yu-gi-oh's kinda a cheat, I mean, there are cards that a player can only carry one of those, while the Opponents can carry as much as 3 pieces of the same card...
Take this for an example,
The last time I played, I can only carry one Future Fusion, while my opponents can carry up to 3,
And this card was pretty much the trump card for my deck of
Pair this up with
I could summon the dragons from my graveyard all day long
Future fusion Five Headed Dragon and throw 2 Darkness Metal and 2 Wyvern and another random dragon card, that's it, unlimited summoning again and again..

Pokemon, any day. I grew up with it and have always admired it's creativity and style.
Yu-gi-oh just doesn't appeal to me. Especially the character designs.

Yu-gi-oh the card game broke it´s back over the years with all the baggage of content but it was very recommendable once. The very last arc in the manga isn´t bad btw. and the first few volumes are madcap fun as they are craziness only. Nothing else exists.
I have finished all the mainline non-remake Pokemon games (where is the difficulty btw.?) and Pokémon Origins is very decent. Nothing else exists.
A clear win for the Pocket Monsters here and the history of Game Freaks is fascinating. Yu-Gi Oh Abridged is the Citizen Kain of re-dubbing btw.

after being dragged back into MTG after being away for 20years
i...rewatched the duelist kingdom
and now i can sort of respect yu-gi-oh more i think
and it looks like a little more friendly cardgame for the wallet than magic have become
and i have changed my mind a little so

Yu-Gi-Oh -- because I just lost interest in Pokemon over the years but the YGO cards are still cool and even the new stuff is still interesting (unlike the decline in Pokemon recently). Plus...YGOTAS. Just YGOTAS.
