Hi!
In most of the shoujos that I read, the protagonist is usually a cute, good girl and sometime a little bit slow. I was wondering if you could suggest me a manga with a sadistic, evil, cynical, dark, strong, violent or dominant (over the male protagonist) female protagonist. Since, I am new here, if threads like this one already exist, please post their links.
Thanks smile

Saver..A very tomboy-ish beautiful protagonist. She's also dark and strong.
Basara..Sarasa is possibly the most bada** shoujo female heroin ever. Dont just the manga by its art.
7 seeds..it has multiple protagonist. Hana, Fujiko, Ayu and Botan are the strong female type. They're also dominant over the male protagonist. Especially the dynamics between Hana and other dominant male characters like Ango and Ryo.
Ludwig Kakumei ...Lots of sadistic, cynical, dark strong, violent and dominant female characters. Especially on Red Riding Hood, Queen Amalberga and Dorothea (-she's masochist though)
Pika-ichi
Gold Rush 21, the female protagonist is very androgenous, she works as a host and she used to have a relationship with a woman. And it's a shoujo romance manga.
Stroke Material ..shoujo smut, but the girl is very dominant. And she's not slutty or stupid.
Kanojotachi no X-Day ..she's too angsty for my taste though.
The Scarlet Chair, she's definitely one of a kind.

--Edit..
Oresama Teacher ?
Flowers of Evil The female protagonist is pretty much the character you look for.

You are like the dense main character in a shoujo manga.

hmm, try Tokyo Crazy Paradise by the same mangaka as Skip Beat- the girl is strong and violent- if you mean that you want someone kick-ass.
And i agree, Devil and Her Love Song has an amazing protagonist
