Daydream. Lol~ Oh you know... imagine a different ending to a manga, stick yourself into an anime you watched recently, add a continuation to that dream you had last night but got waked up halfway through. Generally that and my thoughts drift somewhere before I know it and well I end up sleeping.

Well, if it's not that, I leave my comp on playing a video, and let myself surrender to sleep halfway. Sometimes I'll fall asleep reading mangas too, since the pillow is so close by~ (under my chin lol!)

It's kinda weird, no matter what it is, I always find my self be able to sleep or otherwise pause my thoughts in the middle of something, instead of after completing it. Hopework, anime and manga, novels, songs, or even just my random train of thought. I dunno, keeping my options available and up ahead seems easier to relax for me, rather than having completed that thing and able to forget it.

"What am I going to do tomorrow..?"
And more often than that one...
"Go to sleep, go to sleep, go to sleep"

Death, possibilities of what happens after death, the realization that no matter how hard I tried I would never have anything more than pointless speculation with no basis in fact, continuing that realization to comprehend that my whole life, my everything, is infinitely close to 0 in the eyes of the universe, wondering why humans developed an intelligence beyond what was needed for simple survival, trying to comprehend the fact that the universe has likely always existed in some form or another, wondering if life could be preserved by downloading all information in the brain, realizing that even with that form of immortality at least one version of you would have to experience death anyway, and wondering if I could get good enough at stock exchanges to support my life inside the cloud, and take advantage of the full immersion gaming that would surface then.

i used to think about that, but i couldn't sleep when i did so is started thinking about random crap to distract me and prevent me for over thinking.

Also, warm milk or booze do the trick too.

"Blank mind... blank mind... no! don't think about wanting to sleep! Don't think about how is that one moment you're conscious and the next you are asleep. Don't ask yourself what is the mental process behind falling asleep... really isn't it interesting, you really just lose consciousness like that, you don't even think about it, the more you make it a decision the less you want to sleep...

DAMN IT!!

Blank mind... blank mind... don't think... don't think..."

Hmmm..Um I could be wrong but I think the answer is mostly sleep >_>"
I used to plan out my dreams for the night! Plot! LOL
Now it's: If I had a lot I couldn't get done that day, then I reluctantly make mental lists, or on very busy days it all goes black the moment my head hits the pillow bigrazz
Bah!

Ever since I was very small, I would have trouble falling asleep. So I would create, invent, imagine, and/or twist different stories. Through out the years, the subjects came to be on everything and anything.

Now that I think of it, that only started after my father stoped telling me bed time stories. I guess I had to find myself a replacement. smile wink grin

Stories, memories, etc...
I tend create stories,
keep adding on to them
until they reach an end.

Simone: Do you have any dreams?

Pee-wee: Yeah, I'm all alone. I'm rolling a big doughnut and this snake wearing a vest...

how awesome this song sounds (that I'd be listening to when I go to sleep) and how I really want to sex the person who wrote it, just because he/she is awesome

Well, I create different types of stories in my head, and usually they are very over the top. Some times I'll even include people I know. For example, I'll put them in a post-apocalyptic environment or make them save the world (as embarrassing as that is to admit). I know it's silly, but it works for me.
