I'm looking for manga that focuses on the high society of nobility. Particularly, balls, parties, and other social events where the main character goes to/is obligated to go to these parties to participate in High society whether they're fond of it or not.

A very good example is Emma there are several instances where one or more of the characters are attending some sort of social gathering. Their feelings all differ about it as well as their statuses. They range from Pureblood nobles, New money upstarts, Former maids(winkwink), etc.

Basically, I'm looking for manga that peers into that world. There are plenty of manga that have nobility in them, but they tend to focus on other matters.

I only read the first volume of Emma so I don't really know about what your taste is

but I kinda get a sense from reading your description (I may be wrong tho) but you can try Lady Victorian. It has a lot of high society related stuff. The main character isn't a noble but she's friend with this gorgeous noble-writer.

Evyione this is a story about nobles and the court. How nobles use people like pawns and stuff

The Rose of Versailles is a great manga if you don't mind old-style arts. There's a lot of going to balls and parties in the beginning till the middle but story shifts to events leading to the French revolution

and definitely seconding Bronze no Tenshi. This is the first thing came to mind when reading your request so definitely give it a try. Keep reading if you're bored in the beginning. I think the middle is MUCH more exciting than the beginning!
