It's okay..not that great/awesome..
I'm more interested in what happened to Grimmjow and what's rukia doing right now.

I read somewhere, before this arc started, that in an interview, Tite Kubo stated that there will be one short arc (presumably to get Ichigo's powers back) followed by a longer and final arc. Don't take my word for it though... I can't remember where I saw it or how true it was.

Herp derp. Impatient brats can't wait for the plot to develop before calling out plot-holes and what not.

This arc is still better than the "LOL! I have an "I WIN" button and you can't stop me" arc.

Exactly this. This arc is hundred times better than the Arrancar and Fake Karakura arc. I'm actually interested in Ichigo's training, I want to see his progression. Not like when he was training with visoreds for controlling his hollow, which turned out to be useless against Ulquiorra and Aizen anyway. Also Chad and Orihime are being USEFUL instead of just crying about how weak they are/were.

Pardon, but after anxiously expecting Shunsui and Ukitake's Bankai in the last arc (not to mention Aizen and Yamamoto), fullbring's really boring. I guess we can't have everything awesome in one arc, but the disparity's big enough to turn me off for now.

By the way, I'm curious: if Unohana can cure Hiyori's bifurcation, why didn't she restore Yamamoto's arm while she was at it?

Well, the only reasons I can think of for this arc to exist in the first place are to...
(1) either extend Bleach for as long as possible OR
(2) explain why Chad has powers.

I agree with this, I believe somewhat of both to be true, strongly leaning toward option 1 none Anyway, I think this arc is a convenient plot device to give Ichigo back his powers, then the story can continue further and longer, yep eyes

PS: if my theory is way off my apologies, I haven't read past ch. 442 at this time, and probably not for awhile.
