ok I recently just reread berserk since its one of my fav mangas of all time and I had time to kill, its just awesome an epic series im looking to read something similar, maybe like Shin Angyo Onshi wich is another great manga, im looking for something epic and id rather it be like berserk in those type of times but not necessarily it could be samurai or something.

Threads of time maybe, but the epic level isn't on par with Berserk and SAO, imo.
Red Eyes if you don't mind mecha and shounen, same as above.
Hell Blade still too early to tell if it'll be good but shows promise.
Hellsing give it a try, wasn't that good imo.

Everything else I wanted to rec is already on your reading list (Vagabond, Vinland Saga, Shigurui). Nothing else gives of the vibe Berserk does, atleast for me.

For me Id is the shounen version of Berserk. Though if you're looking for blood than that's not it. When I say they're similar I'm talking only about the world, the art (they're both a more detailed than most manga even though Berserk is better) and the story (it develops magnificently later on).

Id will look kind of weird to you in the first 5 chapters but please give it a chance because it is a lot better than it looks.

I was told quite often that Ubel Blatt is like Diet Berserk, though I cannot confirm it myself. But I'm going to check it out eventually, too.

Übel Blatt is similar to berserk
Hellsing in some points similar but its more a real classic monster story with blood,gore,violence and action.But at the same time this manga shows what it means to be a real monster.

moonshadow29, since you seem to know about Übel Blatt better: what is similar, plot or characters? Or both?
