What is the best way to translate a dialect or accent of the original language that is not the norm (e.g., Kansai-ben)?
Different country's English accent (e.g., Irish or Australian)
Different American regional accent (e.g., Southern)
Have the character use different slang (e.g., 'pops' instead of 'dad')
Minor speech pattern differences (e.g., dropping the 'g' in '-ing' words)
No difference in translation but have a translation note

I've been a fan of the series for years, and was wondering if there are going to ever be more scanlations than the ones that have been released? I own pretty much the later half of the series (in Japanese) but I am only in year one Japanese T_T and it looks so cool, I wish I could follow 100% of what's going on.

You haven't been paying attention...It IS being scanlated still. In fact, last release was a few days ago.
