male yaoi mangaka

Has anyone read the work of any male yaoi mangaka? Because as far as I know, all yaoi mangaka seem to be females, except those ones who have ambiguous names and don't list their genders 😀 . Please prove me wrong.
And then women say that men are perverted.. 🤣
I don't know.. But if I would write a manga.. I wouldn't even put hints of Yaoi couples.. 😛

Alot of mangakas have aliases. Who know if some of these female mangakas are actually males, and some males are actually females, unless the fan actually meets the mangakas.
If female can write Yuri, there can males who write yaoi is what I think. Plus in the end, it's about making money. If you are unsuccessful in 1 genre, you may try another genre to see if you have a better luck in that genre.
These mangakas are supposedly males, unless they are females who pretend to be males:
- KUJOU Aoi
-SAKURA Haiji
-KISARAGI Hirotaka
and according to a staff at DokiDoki, Sugahara Ryu, and Takagi Ryo are rumoured to be too.

I have a feeling the mangaka/group that wrote Room for five is/are either male, either did it for teh lulz. Or both actually.
Found another one TAGAME Gengorou, and I'm pretty sure all bara authors are males... 😔 .

That looks hardcore... reminds me of this female yaoi mangaka's work whose characters started to get more and more muscular.
Hardcore? They actually look like men, at least. 🤣

Hmmm... IF you're talking about very muscular guys, that is, like that very bara-ish guy from Border. There's a lot of yaoi manga these days with characters who do look pretty male(like Naono Bohra's males with body hair, muscles, etc). Well, at least they don't look like the cast from Kaze to Ki no Uta anymore.
Anyways, oh yeah.. how could I forget about these 2? I don't really know if they're males but their works seem to be slanted at gay men(very hardcore stuff).
Also this guy: possibly male or maybe female(definitely bi)? From his site, a lot of his "yaoi/gay" works are published in bara mags?

Oh yeah... this article might interest those who want to read some kinda commentary piece about BL manga, gay manga, etc.

Most of you are assuming only females read yaoi...you couldn't be more wrong so it only makes sense it would have a wide range of types catering to differant tastes.

Well, yaoi is targeted at a female audience. It's written to appeal to the tastes of girls in their late teens, or young women. Therefore, the depiction of homosexual relationships in yaoi is usually unrealistic and idealised. Sure, other people read it, but the primary target market of yaoi is similar to josei.

I might be a little late posting in this topic but even though yaoi is most likely read and written by mainly females, then maybe if a male writes a yaoi manga, he'll get more popular as the mangaka because he's male. Its the simple facts in life that make us attracted to the slightest details. If all else fails he'd have a ton of girlfriends. 8D
If Authors were to write as well as some people spoke then, sjdfhsdjkfh sdjfhsdjkfh!

Perhaps boyfriends more likely? How could you assume that they are interested in women?

And you're equally at fault for assuming that they are only attracted to men.

I said "more likely" and "perhaps", indicating the possiblity. I didn't say that was absolutely or "only" the case. 🙄
